You need to have the grandmaster trait “spirits unbound” (from nature magic).
Until then they will stay where you have created them. If you trait in spirits unbound, they will follow you.

Oh, thanks I looked up on youtube “ranger spirits” just to make sure that it was actually a problem and I saw all of their spirits moving so ya

over the past few days I’ve been playing my ranger and whenever i use spirits for my character they don’t move at all, i’m still able to use their ability or whatever you call it but they won’t move a budge. This is the fist time I’ve ever used spirits (or played ranger for that matter) and I’ve noticed this problem wherever i go (PvE). I’m not in a group, and i’ve noticed this problem with all the spirits ive tried which are rock and sun.
