Cin Business collection item " Cord of Stolen Wood " is unattainable because the event " Solve the mysterious happenings frightening Seraph lumber workers " is not spawning at night. Many players have attempted to change map instances and complete events in the area to no avail.

I think most players that are happy with Anet’s response are too busy farming to say thank you, so on behalf of those folk – thank you.

Don’t get me wrong I understand where you’re coming from, but I’m sure plenty of people out there have used other languages in the same manner to be coy about such things

And all this isn’t about what something actually means now is it? It’s about perception and if that perception can be negative/bring unpleasant thoughts to mind/etc.

It’s really not that obvious. And if I’m trying to cover the very giant base of something that doesn’t bring anything unpleasant to mind to anyone, I should point out that your name could be interpreted as “guiltless” seeing as inculpatus = guiltless in Latin.
Pardon for any rudeness, but it can be a vague issue at times.

My character name “Pwn Star” has just been deemed as a violation to the naming policy.

(Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I cannot locate where one can file an appeal as is suggested by this site.)

I’ve had the name since release and have used spin offs of it in Guild Wars 1 for years. I believe that the only reason why this got reported is because someone’s jealous. It is a highly sought after name in many games.

I can’t see where this name violates the naming policy but if it’s really doing so in a way I simply cannot perceive then I just want to know the following…

1. Once I change my character name, is another player able to use that name [after 24 hours] or does it remain flagged as ‘used’ or something? I’d be quite annoyed if another player was able to pick it up right after I was forced to drop it.

2. Can someone please tell me how this is offensive/violating the naming policy? I’m not trying to troll, I literally do not understand this and neither can anyone in map chat at the moment.

3. If this is deemed to be a legitimate infarction, is there a place on the forums where I can get a name pre-approved before I change the toon’s name so that this doesn’t have to happen again?

While you might say something along the lines of “offensive names are obvious”, I no longer believe that they are and I am worried that no matter what I do it’s going to be offensive.
