I’ve had to use my friends account to post as I can’t log into the forums anymore, it says i don’t have a GW2 account??

On the Norn personal story quest line, “Sabotage”, i get to a point where i have to protect a dredge survivor “Vladok” from enemies. I’ve tried about 5 times now, and each time he runs out a few steps and stops. A couple of times a few enemies spawn but de-spawn almost instantly making it impossible to continue with the story quest! I haven’t found any other posts about this.. any help appreciated
