The mobs and placement are fine in WvW just as they are.

If you want little/no mobs go play sPvP

Ever try an earth elemental? Just a suggestion.

Solution:

Step 1, gather several classes that can AoE stealth. ie Mesmer elite.

Step 2, get to the end of the dark room and wait in the hallway

Step 3, step 3 use AoE in the hallways and drop under the ledge.

Step 4, let a Mesmer (or two.. or 3) quickly go through the animal room (should only take about 45 sec to a min tops

Step 5 portal from the trap down to waiting party…

Step 6 win?

As long as they don;t see you in the hallway come out to the ledge, they shouldn’t be actively arrowcarting.

The biggest trick… use tactics. I’ve had thieves go completely through the animal room without being seen.

If you just try to blaze though.. its no wonder you end up dying.

Yes I know we get keys from the story but I’ve only done 2 stories on all 8 of my characters. Only done map completion on 2 characters as well (the rest have just hit the starting cities for the gear changing stones. I only have 2 characters in the 40’s and the rest are between 8 and 20.

So I would say the majority of my keys are not from story or map completion I can count 2 (or maybe 3? from the story and maybe 2-4 from map completion on both my level 40 chars and I’ve opened (by counting potions) 18 chests. I found my last key 2 days ago on a random monster.

I get keys randomly all the time across all my characters. I’ve had the pleasure of opening 15 to 20 chests so farI’ve never purchased a key.

The items I’ve gotten from chests (because I will not purchase them from the store and never used them) are 3 owl, 6 jackalop, 3 skritt, 3 golamite, 3 ram, 3 pig, 3 plant wolf, 3 floater, 3 imp, 3 snow owl and 24 mystery tonics. I’ve also gotten 3 killstreak, 2 armour, 3 speed, 5 rejuvination, 1 strength, 2 magic find, 4 xp boosters and 3 bank, 4 black lion and 1 revive orb.

Am I lucky? I don’t think I am but I’ve found enough to keep me happy hehehe

Since I don’t regularly even use greatsword, the change doesn’t bother me at all shrugs

My warrior plays exactly how I want it to play so have no idea either.

I get my free siege about 80% of the time I try. Even when it is defended. The means are there to get it if you find them. Though I have to say, the hardest part to get through is the animal room. Before and after that room is a breeze.
