I’ve been told by a lot of people that lvl 80 is where the fun is and I guess that’s the only reason why I keep going. Like every MMO I’ve played, I always reach max level in at least one character. Just so I can get the “full” experience per say. I just really hope that by the time I finally reach max level Anet finally beings to roll out some major patches. So far all the patches they release have been in the “meh” side of things. Nothing huge that can get you excited. And considering how slow I am at leveling Anet has a lot of room/time to work with :-P
Yeah it is very noticeable how empty the zones are in GW2. In launch day and a few months afterwards I was able to always find someone to level with. Now that I play this game more often and i wanted to level a Warrior, I mean c’mon you can’t denied that a little Asura with a giant 2 handed sword looks pretty cool, it is hard to find someone to “quest” with. I think I got around 30+ levels by just being in Queensdale and following the kill champs zerg. >.> Talk about boring. But thanks Caramel, I learn a lot from your post.
I have to agree with Woof here. I just don’t get it either. I just feel lost when I play GW2. It seems like I don’t have a goal to strive for. Aside for reaching level 80 that is. I think so far the only fun I’ve had on this game, even though I bought it on launch day and I play it from time to time, is when I do WvWPvP. Maybe its the fact that I am stuck in the WoW mentality of how an MMO must be and that’s why I can’t see things “clearly”. Or like Rednaz said, maybe MMO’s aren’t for me anymore.
