The event was not successful. We seem to have run into some of the commonly seen bugs. The southern escort event never spawns, instead it just goes back and forth between defending lone post and the conservatory escort mission. And the NPC to start the megalaser repair mission is nowhere to be seen and it has been stuck like that for the past 2 hours.
