At first I thought it was kinda funky… in a bad way

Now I think it’s pretty funky… in a good way lol

I wanted my character to be a bit eccentric anyways so it suits her fine. And it’s not like we have much of a choice on the personality in our characters anyways. From what I’ve noticed, your personality depends on your race, so if you want a more serious attitude, the charr seem to act more serious. I’ll stick with the whole might being right dialogue lol

I must be honest, I don’t even hear a horn when I use the skill lol

When I saw there was a war horn in the game I got super psyched!! I imagined myself blowing the horn in an army of players charging forward to the battlefield in WvW.

Then I pressed the skill…. at first I thought it was bugged lol

Hopefully after all the really important things are taken care of, they can improve the audio for the war horn. It would be so awesome to charge into a battle with one!!

So far my female Norn is my favorite character. I don’t dislike her voice so far. She certainly doesn’t scream “For great Justice!!” as spiritedly as the human female and when she gets knocked down by an enemy she makes this weird disturbing grunt lol but overall I think it’s nice. She sounds a bit too calm for a Norn compared to everyone else around her :P

As for the dialog, which should be treated separately from the voice, all Norn dialogue is pretty cheesy and eccentric but I’m getting into it. It’s like an old school fantasy story.

And the “might makes me right!” line is super cheesy but I love it!! lmao

So far I’m satisfied with the playlist for just cities, ambien, etc. Of course, more customization would be better.

Adding more places would be great too! Like playlist for caves or dungeons, WvW or PvP, specific minigames like the barrel tossing game in the Norn starting area.

Also, I’ve been having trouble with the randomness of the songs. Supposedly, after the first song, the playlist starts to randomize. I heard that from Milennin in this website:

Even if I put a muted file as the first song in the playlist, I still hear the songs going in sequence sometimes. Hopefully that gets adjusted.

I love this feature though!! It feels great to personalize the music in the game. Honestly, I keep the original soundtrack from Jeremy soul in my playlist and I just add songs from his other works like Oblivion and maybe a few Final Fantasy orchestral songs to keep the role playing in the music.

Hello! I am also going through the same exact problem with my computer. Mine’s is a 64-bit with windows 7, Nvidia Geoforce GT 425, and when I play the game, the computer just suddenly shuts off without warning. It never happens with any other program or game except for this one. So far I’m going to attempt to do everything that’s been said in this post and see if I can get some answers as well.

Checked the folder in my documents, no error reports either. I’ve attached my dx diag just in case if it’s any extra help to compare the two. I’ll continue to check out this post for any new info. I really don’t want to stop playing!
