I’ve played two characters up to level 5 or so. Others to level 2. I wasn’t really getting into any of them.
For the elementalist, I did a bit of the story.
I’ve bought this game a few months ago, and every time I sit down to play, I can’t get into it. I don’t understand the draw to the game. I aimlessly walk around the starter area and do the heart activities and the events and I gain levels apparently, but I’m just not having any fun. I also have no clue why I need to progress further.
The combat seems frustrating and hard at times, as if the challenges being presented to you are not possible with your current character. The very odd difficulty spikes make little sense. It jumps around like crazy.
I guess I haven’t been a huge fan of MMORPGs in the first place, but GW2 was supposed to be something different, and it honestly isn’t. Yes, you don’t talk to quest givers anymore, and yes there seems to be less busy work to do, but I still think it’s basically the same thing as before.
What is the draw to this game? Why play it?
Where do I deposit the collectables?
I’m pretty new to guild wars 2. How do I know what to keep and what to sell? How can I clean up my inventory? Is there a personal stash like in WoW?
I want to enjoy the game, but having a full inventory and not knowing what to do about it is a bit frustrating. I hate dealing with inventory management honestly. It’s a big pet peeve of mine.
Please help.
