there should be one or more legendary for all weapon type at the same time, i’m getting sick of these ultra slow paced content(items) update

There is no sense of grind in the game, time spent on game/progression doesn’t reflect on your character, only the skins does, think about it!

I invite GW2 developpers to play a game called Realm of the Mad God: http://www.realmofthemadgod.com/

it is a flash based MMO, each god (stronger enemies) will have a chance to drop a portal for a dungeon upon death, each dungeon is open to everyone, some have player limit

This is how dungeons should be, not behind an UI, why having a big living world if it’s to pu dungeons behind a kitten UI ?

Oh, and they should make old maps still relevant with updated stuff, instead of splitting comunity into 3 different content, Base/HoT/NewExpac

But this will requiere everyone else to get the newExpac

This just explain an even deeper problem

GW2 got released and it was something revolutionary, but they then decided to go back to old generic standard MMO design, dungeon behind an UI screen, raids behind an UI screen, new expac in new zone etc..

They should have went the subscription route with free xpac so no matter what everyone will get the same content, and they can release new stuff in old maps no matter what

You can’t mix revolution with old standard

Problem is deeper imo, because of horizontal progression, once you done the base game, you figure out the horizontal thing, and then doing HoT becomes less engaging, it is just the same kitten all over the place

In other game you grind the content to evolve your character, at the end of the journey you feel the change, so it was worth it

At the end of HoT you feel nothing special, gliding? ok cool now what?

For upcoming expansion, they need to find a way to make the player feel the change in the progression, they need something so they can say i’m different now after all these hours

Items that are gone from the shop should be obtainable directly in game, put them as reward from killing certain World Event Boss so we can only try our change every hours

That will give something for people to look forward instead of getting bored of getting crafting materials or junk items

The rewards don’t worth it, armors looks generic, and that backpack, only the last tier looks unique

I find this GW2 designer dude to be really bad, we don’t want reaslitic armors in a game, we want cool looking ones, at the same level of the ones we get from the cash shop PLEASE!

The game is big and you release only 1 skin per 3 month

C’mon i don’t want to look like everybody else, i feel like you don’t understand what we want, give more particle effects, more alternatives, and for the love of god, stop with the crafting kitten, it is boring, please do some metrics and i’m pretty sure you’ll see the people who craft their legendary is bellow 0.0001% of player base

The game is looking more and more like a single player/co-op advanture wich is sad..

And WTF 13 legendary in one year ? just one per weapon type? c’mon even pure F2P do better than this

Just look at WoW, they are superior in term of content, this is disapointing, stat isn’t a thing in the game, so please triple the ammount of legendary you’ll release, or there is no point in waiting 1 year

GW2 has potential, but you focus on single player stuff..

bahaha! Dream on… all you get are gemstore outfits from now on. Want to have an unique look? Though kitten, take whats there, more ya aint getting from a-net anymore. Maybe next expansion you get another 3 armor set choices per weight class IF you are lucky…

The problem with GW is there is no carrot in front of you to keep being motivated

In other MMO, as soon as you earn level, you see different in skills you upgrade, in gear you upgrade, you feel like your character became stronger as you progress in the game, that makes leveling a bit interesting (i’m not talking about questing, wich is crap is every mmo)

Anet should work on this, give us the impression to progress, make our character to feel the progression, i mean, it’s hard to explain with my kittenty english but i think you got what i mean, progression in GW if flat and blank

That’s why we need way more new gameplay elements, gliding was great idea

We need mounts, usefull pets, personal housing, more weapon sets, everyone choose the same set wich is annoying..

We also need more skill diversity, to really make our build unique, more visible difference between build, atm the game is made so each class has to use a specific build to be competitive, wich is crap cause if you want to try something different you becomes weak..

Since stats doesn’t matter, the only way for me to keep being motivated to play is to collect as much skin as possible

So please ANet, release moreeeeeeee skins, and more often!!!! You can earn way more money if we see more diversity in skins, i hate to see everyone with the same skin..

More skin is the way to go, we want to be unique!

Just getting these out there so we know we are all in agreement:

1) Conditions seem a bit strong
2) World bosses are currently too easy
3) There are some bugged skills and traits
4) There are some overpowered builds

We won’t fix it all at once but these are four large topics we are talking about. In the meantime keep the feedback and bug reports coming, and I guess farm up some world bosses. We are dedicating time towards these issues and are intending to resolve them as quickly as possible. As we have said before, the live environment differs too greatly from anything we can reliably simulate internally so big changes like today’s build will cause things to sometimes change at an alarming rateTM.

I disagree with 1), with this patch it’s now perfect

Attacks shouldn’t be the only way to deal damage, condition should be considered just like attacks, if you want spe attack, or spe condi, both should have the same output, if you spe condi, you should be weak in attacks, same if you spe attack, you should be weak in condi damage

Do not normalize everything or it will end up in a boring gameplay, where you can’t see difference between specializations and everyone will use again the same set of gear, and spe the same attribute

Who are you to say HoT doesn’t worth 45€, have you played it? have you developped it? is it released yet? Do we have a release date?

They are going to give us more information about HoT as the release date is comming, just be patient

You are not forced to pre-purchase now, just wait new information over the time, then if you feel these info are enought then make your choice, but please don’t spread stupid free hate

Could be fun to be able to duel people in PVE, just for the fun, like any other MMO

What do you think ?
