Guild Wars 2

I can log in from the launcher, but when I click “Play” I get a blank grey screen. The mouse cursor changes so there’s obviously something going on in the background, but even after a good few minutes of waiting the game itself doesn’t show up.

I’m having the exact same issue, except I can’t even “force quit”. No matter what I do, the application stays open in my dock, to the point of even preventing my computer from shutting down (“The application Guild Wars 2 has canceled shutdown”). Beyond frustrating as I used to play this game daily and now am unable to even open up the launcher to update the game files.
