Knock on wood, but my TP issue seems to be fixed. I don’t know if it’s temporary or the new patch fixed it, but it’s so nice to finally be able to relax when opening BLTC. It took ANet a couple of months, but better now than never, so thank you. I hope it’s gonna keep working well.

It’s been happening to me, too, especially with my main character, whom I planned to overhaul and get her new skins and everything… Now I can’t play with her because of the dcs. I begun having such annoying problems with the game that I definitely won’t be buying the expansion.

Not the mention that I and many other Mac users have been having problems with the crashing Trading Post since September, and we didn’t even get a reply from the devs, let alone a fix.

I don’t know what you’ve changed, but something is not right. My game worked perfectly fine before, the problems only starting with the September patch Trading Post, and now with these disconnects.

I started having other weird problems with the TP. My game just crashed several times AFTER I managed to open it. It was impossible to sell anything, because the menu is bugged. I can set prices, but after I click on “sell/list this item”, the buttons in that small selling menu become grey and it’s only possible to cancel. Soon after that the game would crash. I wanted to make a screenshot now, but I couldn’t get the TP to open. >:(

The game works perfectly fine other than the stupid Trading Post.

If I may kindly ask: Is any of the developers even reading this thread? I’m also hoping for an answer. We have been having this issue for way too long now.

I’M STILL HAVING ISSUES WITH THE TP. Let me remind you, it’s nearly February now.

I’ve noticed that if I open the TP as soon as I log in, it usually works. However, if I try to open it a couple of minutes after logging in, it will bug. Every. Single. Time.

Perhaps that’s some clue.

@JOO TOO, my default browser is Firefox and my game still freezes whenever I try to close the forever-loading TP. I really hope it’s working for you, but I wouldn’t say that’s what’s causing the problem to all of us.

I’ve noticed that the only time I can expect the TP to load and work normally is right after I log in. If I do anything other than entering TP window, it’s a lottery (though it sometimes freezes even when I open it right after logging in).

Bumping this thread since the issue is far from being fixed, and losing the Mac forum now means our threads will get burried quickly.

This is very disrespectful of the devs. It’s as if we Mac users don’t exist. I’m sure the problem should take less than 3 months to fix, or at least figure out what’s causing it and tell us – I’ll be content with “your Mac is too old for GW2”.

This problem only alienates the players; I, for one, wanted to spend a relaxing morning playing the game, but after 5 repeated crashes I just feel like smashing my monitor. I won’t be playing the game any time soon.

This is extremely annoying… I haven’t been able to enjoy the game at all since that stupid patch because of this issue. I dread opening the TP because my game freezes almost every time. Like, I’d rather go fight Giganticus Lupicus naked with a level 1 torch than open the TP. I’ve lost lots of gold salvaging items instead of selling them. How much time do you people need to fix this issue?!

The Trading Post is still making my game freeze and need a restart 9/10 times.

Me too! I have exactly the same problem. It’s driving me crazy! I’ve tried everything I could think of, even the repair client, and nothing works! PLEASE fix it, it’s impossible to play the game like this.

4/10. It’s cute what you did – the Great Bear and the royal names pun – but you should have picked only one of them. This way it sounds as if your first name choice was already taken so you had to improvise.

7/10 for Taryk and 8/10 for Artico (are you perhaps Spanish?) Those are okay names, very Charr-ish and they fit them well, I’d say.

My Warrior is Mister Cudddles. Sadly, Cuddles was already taken, so I threw in one extra d. He’s huge, black and has orange eyes of doom, big teeth, big horns and little skulls in his hair.

7/10 I don’t like Boon as a name at all, but with Dagerra it sounds very interesting, reminds me of many things: Hanna-Barbera cartoons, Pantera band, Bagheera from Mowgli…

My main char name’s Silveria Dorado [Engi], because she’s all colored silver and gold (dorado = golden in Spanish).

The other one’s Heluin [Ranger], I took it from The Silmarillion and it means blue star. His fern hound has a better name: Fernir.
