I assume you are talking about the armor skins you can buy and apply to armor you already own. The way they work is after you buy them, you double click and you get a window similar to a trasmutation stone window and you can put the armor piece of the similar type (light, chest for example) and apply the skin. After you do that, if you get new armor with better stats and you want to keep the skin, you’ll have to use a transmutation stone to carry it over. You only get to use the skin once, so only one set of armor will have that look at a time. If you were to sell, or salvage or destroy the armor that had the skin, it would be lost for good and the only way to obtain it again would be to buy it again.
That does answer it. Kind of lame (Seriously this should be a permanent item like those in hall of monuments)
I’ve been away for aaaaaages (shame on me yes). And am interested in some of the armor styles.
But… can I reobtain them after buying? or if I buy them now and use them you cannot obtain these items again…
makes no sense to me how it can run darksiders 2 without any issues yet stumbles on Guild Wars 2… ah well mystery of my device I suppose.
I suggesting going to amd’s driver website and getting the most up to date catalyst driver and (key here) getting the application profile which is guild wars 2 specific . I have a some what older card 5770 and have seen a 10 fps increase just with the application profile. After installing the profile you don’t have to do anything additional.
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspxThe application profile only applies to if your 5000 series and past though you didn’t mention what card you have.
3800 series here- however that shouldn’t cause the difference between beta and the release to be so devastating; and I have an updated driver (the downloads show the options I already have.)
I have been running Guild Wars 2 pretty darn flawless during beta, meaning: no crash occurred at all.
Then the release happened and somehow just about everywhere except the Human Areas and WvWvW cause graphics crashes. The second I have one I have to force close Guild Wars 2. Simply because the moment the driver recovers it will loop into it again and again, steadily getting worse if I leave it open.
Considering I walked just about everywhere during the beta -what- is the difference between now and then in the game… It’s getting really ridiculous and I don’t know what to do anymore… I’ve even already played in the lowest of low settings- made no difference.
Thanks for any help,
Schu
