Guild Wars 2

There are 3 kinds of support in this game. Dealing damage, avoiding incoming damage, spamming boons and vulnerability.

I dunno how dungeon gameplay ist below lvl 80 full exo chars, so a non lvl 80 Group has a lack of damage in any Dungeon. Problem: damage ist the most important support in this game.

You can avoid damage simply by dodging (learn the mechanics of the bosses) and with your traits.
Guardian is probably the best class to avoid incoming damage.
You got the wall of reflect, so use it on ANY mob with uses projectiles. Reflecting projectiles is avoiding dmg.
You got your Ghost Weapond shield which blocks projectiles. YOu got 3 times aegis which blocks ANY incoming hit and you got some blinds depending on your weapon.
get rid of mace shield and use sword Focus.
sword 2 blind, fokus 4 blind fokus 5 block. Don´t use the heal sign. Use the one that blocks. YOu heal while blocking ANY attack.
And because a not lvl 80 Berserker gear Group has a lack of damage….dodge dodge dodge and dodge

Staff4 is great to buff might but you will still have lack of dps. Staff is more a speedrun weapon. U can use it anyways to buff might, or use Greatsword, cause GS3 is a blind, too.
Use 15 Points to Radiance, at least (20 for 10% dmg boost to sword. I use 30 for right Hand strength) cause F1 is a blind then, too. And refreshes when an enemy dies. Use at least 5 Points in honor to get vigor when critical hit….dodge dodge dodge.

Using hammer gives a symbol that spends protection, but the better Support is to avoid damage.

Don´t ever run into dungeons with conditon damage classes cause condition damage sucks at all in pve.

You can condition remove from your Group with shouts or with purging flames, or F2 when you spend 20 Points into virtues. Purgins flames is pretty mightfull. I use it.

Guradian Support ist dealing damage, avoiding incoming damage and buffing might. For Speedruns later Staff 3 for speed

Or it could just have a gear check option for when people want to join your group.

I really don’t see the problem with it, I love gear checks because then it shows that the party leader is semi-serious about the dungeon run and then I just get to ping all of my good gear which they won’t have any problems with.

Sometimes I like to join those groups but mostly I like to speedclear with a full zerker group. I want to have the possibility to CHOOSE! Of course everyone can play this game and his char as he wants BUT I don´t want to suffer from those in MY Team cause this ppl don´t fit in our group teamwork! Full zerker group works mostly, full condition group sucks always. I want to choose.

Then set up a game with the details saying that this is a full zerk speedclear, and ask people to leave if they aren’t up for that. What is too difficult about that for you? If you can’t work up the courage to ask someone to leave, you can hardly complain about this. Sure, you may not be able to kick everyone, but you can ask them to leave.

Or you could just drag them through and take 20 minutes instead of 15 – but surely better that than wasting 5 minutes trying to get the perfect person?

My experience from other games suggests that people generally do what they’re asked to do – so just with-hold any kicks for people who won’t.

Of course I describe the kind of group I am looking for. For Example:
“lf 3 berserker warriors and 1 Mesmer COE all path”

Then a Hunter, conditonmancer, another guard (and tank of course -.-) join. And of course nobody leaves if I ask … lol…this is rediculous. Are you using the tool?
The last one who joins is a zerker Warri
If I could choose who wants to join my group, that would not happen. So The Zerker Warri and me are suffering from the tardness and impoliteness of the others.
So why is it my fault that you bother me?

Tool is great, BUT I want to see who wants to join my group AND I want to decide if I want him in my group. When I look for “berzerkers” I don´t want clerics or condition kitten. Especisally not in PVE. When I look for a Warri, I don´t want a Hunter and when I look for lvl 80 I don´t want a 35! It´s risk enough not to know if the player who joins brings brain at least.
Autojoin is a bad idea

And to ban me from joining groups cause I joined to many groups is the worst thing they ever did. If I see it´s a moron group, I quit as fast as I autojoined. Why does the system punish ME and not the griefers and the people who cannot read!
