I submitted my ticket 30 minutes after the release of GW2 and I still haven’t received my items. I’m not complaining, hence I didn’t open another ticket.

I would choose either One or Three, but I am more focussed on Critical Damage, so I’m using that.

Go play another class then, end of story.

Just because two people stop playing Guild Wars 2 isn’t going to change the speed at which Anet will balance the ele OR nerf other classes to match the elementalist. Nor will they care that you stopped playing. Just because somethings hard doesn’t mean you should give up because it requires more work.

I still haven’t got mine and I submitted a ticket 25 minutes after the pre-release of GW2 AND even before the official pre-release time. Arenanet replied probably an hour after quoting:
“Hey there.

We are aware of the issue with Collector’s Edition/Digital Deluxe Edition items going missing after deleting a character that had them. It has happened to many of us, too. -_- A fix is coming as soon as possible, so please stay tuned to the Guild Wars 2 forums () once the forums re-open for updates!

We’ve all astibilished that the elementalist is a bit weak but there’s no reason for you to make a thread telling everyone that you’re re-rolling. I have an 80 ele and I wouldn’t see myself playing any other class. Adapting to the environment is the most fun in WvWvW. They do need a slight buff but it’s not as bad as people are saying.

Agreed, too much has been taken from us after BWE2.

Instead of Arenanet gathering useless data they should just reapply BWE2 settings for Elementalists.

I haven’t heard any of this on my server (gate of madness) but after reading this thread I am rolling an elementalist right away. I love to play the class people consider to be the weakest and least durable in any mmo that I am in. Makes things more challenging and therefore more enjoyable for me. ymmv

The elementalist is my favourite class in GW2, but you do get annoyed when you get yourkitten whooped in sPvP and WvWvW.

I played every single event and most stress test till the actual release date of Guild Wars 2 and we can all agree that the best beta event was BWE2. Beta Weekend 3 ruined a few important aspects of the game. This is when everyone was complaining about the mobs being “too” easy and most characters getting a super nerf or a super buff.
The Elementalist weren’t too overpowered nor were they too underpowered. I honestly found them perfectly matched, but now with the release of the game they have ruined the Elementalist. In PvE they’re still playable but I went ahead and created a guardian. At level 10 I was taking on groups of level 15’s and above with little to no effort, just spamming my auto attack.

Now don’t all be like “LOL, IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BUILD!1! ELE’S ARE OP!!!” no. I do know how to play my character, I was an ele during all the beta weekends + I hit 80 with my toon. My build I have is powerful compared to other elementalists I’ve played against but all other classes can do anything the ele can but with half the effort. Usually I don’t stay in an attunement for longer than 5-10 seconds.
Here’s the perfect example:
• In WvWvW I spot an engineer, alone. I proceed to attack; I lay down the first 2 spells, switch an attunement and proceed. The engineer places 2 turrets, shoots me and ¾ of my health is gone.
I’ve also played with the Staff, Dagger/Dagger, Scepter/Dagger. My favourite atm would be D/D.

So Anet, instead of taking endless feedback which probably will take years for any changes to happen, (I’m not saying your company is slow at making changes, because you’ve fixed nearly every bug I’ve seen in a few hours) but it would be amazing if you just undo the changes from BWE2 – BWE3 / Release

You’re exactly right. Elementalists need a massive buff. All classes have their advantages and disadvantages but the ele only has disadvantages, and yes. I do know how to play the elementalist.

I didn’t actually know it was a permanent delete I thought you could get this back would I have to put a ticket in to get the banker item back again?

The Golum Banker is on all new characters you create and it’s only for 4 days anyways. It would be a waste of time putting in a ticket.

I submitted a ticket an hour after the release of GW2 because I deleted my character (changed from human to norn) and I lost the Mini Rytlock and some other Digital Deluxe edition items. The only thing we can do is; wait. Spamming the forums isn’t going to get your items any sooner.
Anet have fixed most bugs accordingly and I’m sure they’ll fix this too.
