So after about 3 hrs of lv 70+ fractals, i have come to the conclusion that nothing happen to the supposed change to fractal rewards. Same old garbage coming out of our dailies, still spending more gold to buy pointless keys for encrypted chests, and getting the same garbage out of them that we were getting b4 this last “patch”. Is anyone else getting any better Luck or success from these, or are the fractal rewards still as pathetic as they were after HoT launched?

it seems like it only applies one stack of might and fury to party, which if that is the case Suks compared to wat it was in the last BWE ( atleast gave all the might u had to party)

I love the idea behind that “glyph of Conjuring,” to bad it seems very unlikely to happen, but would make and awesome elite skill. Wish they would do something to the conjure weapons they all feel so Meh with all the nerfs they have done.

Overloads Underwater

It just occurred to me while killing the mossman underwater, that do the Ele overloads work while underwater? For that instance how much of the new Elite specs stuff (reaper shroud, gyros, ect.) actually work underwater. Has anet forget about underwater, or just ignoring its existence?

Finally got a good go of the raids today, Real enjoy the concept they have done to them, lots of mechanics to keep everyone on their toes, the implication of put ppl into specific roles and specs is rly nice (i.e. control, healing, direct and condi damage). Only thing i found was the timer was to short to get the job done and only if every has full zerk gear and meta builds might the boss be downed. If this is the case then we wont be getting away from the full zerker meta. But im sure they will be looked as it is only beta. Otherwise rly enjoyed the raid i got a chance to play.

Ive seen some comments in the forums saying they dont like the skill 5 for horn and i can kinda agree. The vuln is nice to it but its damage and single direction of damage can be abit lacking. Some Ideas ive thought the devs could think about are changing the skills pathing in someway. Something like the druids astral wisp but swirling around u, this could help to keep the damage from it more contained. Or keep its pathing forward but make it return like the Warrior greatsword 4, doing the same thing on the way back, or change it from doing vuln on the enemies to weakness, or buff allies instead. Just some ideas for it. Thoughts on this would be nice.

originally i was one of the ppl that would have never played this elite spec, thought nothing would have synergy, and h8ed the warhorn. But after give it some time, im rly enjoying it, even the warhorn has nice capability from its control in water and air. The burst healing in the water skills, and the blinds and reflect aura in earth. I do however think the shouts are very lack luster. To long of a CD with no way to reduce it and the trait shouts have is very over ruled by Harmonious conduit. The stability is required to much to get the overloads off.

it may not be big dps buts awesome aoe, might stacking just from fire attunement can reach 25 for everyone easy, And Fresh air overloading is rly nice for lots of mobs.

Even in pvp with some adjustments and a dagger over a scepter it works so well, for 2v1, even 3v1 bunker gameplay

Has awesome support from to group with its aura share, especially the electric and magnetic aura.

Although somethings do feel a little clunky in some cases, the slow animation of the horn skills, and attunement swapping cancelling ur overloads. The rest is rly quite enjoyable to play with, even if it lacking some damage over ur typical staff build.

The new Rebound has nice ideas for it but the heal is way to small for it and i cant figure how long it lasts for or the heal is just to small to even notice it. A duration in the tool tip would be nice and a buff to the heal for the elite.

Anet looking for an idea for Earthen Proxy.

I still think Hardy conduit minor and speed conduit minor should be merged together, and make a new “master minor” that is increases aura duration and make overloads apply auras depending on ur attuned overload. This could be a nice chance for Auramancer support playstyle with a new adept trait can be made to choose.

BWE 3 Tempest Specialization Changes

I see nothing on Changes to the “shout” skills (apart from the elite) which seriously need to be looked at. The Fire shout was weak with rly only one burn access to it and an aura. The air one needs a stack of stab to go with the break free and the aura to match. And the water one should apply a heal or something to support allies not chill the enemy. The earth one is the only decent one out of the lot, but still they all need to be looked at to be subbed in over all the other utility skills the Ele has. (Reduce the CDs on them).

Although the stab change when traited is nice, that still doesnt stop us from interupting ourselfs when we have to change attunements to stay alive, or dodge out of the way.

Idea for remodeled overloads

Hello

When i think of overloading, i think of an explosion. So an idea to remove the channel to each of the overloads, make them a 2-3 sec cast, explosion like the revenant (shiro) or reaper elite for each of the attunements. Either change to Control and damage enemys, or to purely support your allies with specific boons, and/or debuff enemies.

Attunement overloads: as enemy control and damage
Fire: after the cast Burn enemies and fear up to 5 enemies around the player.
Water: Freeze enemies around the Player, and chill for a few seconds after freeze
Air: Stun and weaken enemies around player.
Earth: Encase enemies around player in Stone, and Cripple

Attunement overloads: as ally support
Fire: apply stacks of might, and increase base power and condition damage to up to 5 allies in radius
Water: Heal and apply regeneration, increasing base Vitality and Healing power of allies
Air: apply quickness and swiftness, increasing Precision and Ferocity of allies
Earth: apply Protection and stability, increasing Toughness and condition duration (on player) of allies

These are just some thoughts of mine to possibly improve the style of these for the Ele. Mabye make each of these a higher Cooldown if to strong (particularly the enemy control and damage ones).

Im not trying to step on anets, i just want to see something good come out of out tempest that might suit better for PVP, PVE and WVW. Any other ideas towards this would be appreciated and ideas to change it.

I feel the tempest is very lack luster, the Horn skills, feel to slow to activate, the overloads are interrupted to easily (i don’t like that u will interrupted it by just attunement swapping. And i don’t see any play from any of the utility skills, rebound mabye, but the 25% doesnt feel sufficient for an elite, and it seems abit buggy when using it with other skills not getting the recharge. For pvp and wvw i don’t it being useful over dagger off or focus, and any other weapon variant. For dungeons i can see some nice support play. Group might share. nice burst heal when in water on scepter/horn, and nice vuln stacking with air, but overall nothing that its over weapons could pull off equally or better.
