+1 this idea because it is an awesome idea

very good point, however i have now changed to 20-30-0-10-10 which seems to be working

However another thing i am considering, is keeping my current gear and using it as farming gear and then the gear you’ve suggested looks like very good dungeon/fratcals gear.

Although if i only change out the armour valk- knights then i can keep my ascended. is my current thought process.

and yet again thanks for helping me :P very much appreciated as i was getting bored with my ele, this is helping me to love my ele again

also where can i get knights armour? can i get it for dungeon tokens like solider?

well the 2 asceneded i got is power/toughness/cri dam

and i don’t mind trading the rings up but the amulet will take me a while.

however so i shouldn’t use my valk armour and trade the in for soilders/knights?

kind of wish i came here before i spent my tokens/laurels on ascended gear but again thanks i’ll have a look and see how it fits.

although another question i have is how come the sigil on the staff? eles can’t swap weapons unless out of combat?

Thank you for the information, but which traits would be good in the 0-10-0-30-30 defiantly going to look into this .

For a very long time I’ve been looking for a staff Elementalist build, which is easier said than done.

From what I’ve seen most people use d/d, s/d, or even s/f over staff.

so for the community I have 2 questions:

1. How come the staff seems so weak in the gw2 community eyes?

the other question, is I have a staff build that I’ve been messing around with and wanted other peoples opinions.

So for Armour I have:

Valkyrie power/vit/crit damage

Rings/amulets/accessory I have:

power/toughness/ crit damage

for runes( not sure which to use):

superior Runes of Strength

or

superior runes of scholar

so what I’m mainly going for is might,crit damge and survivability(mainly for fractals)

Traits is 30, 0, 0, 20, 20, for might and healing (again subject to chance as I’m using a lot of crit damage I think putting 10/20 into air instead.)

I am sorry for any spelling mistakes, but hopeful I can get some reasonable feedback which can help me further improve my staff build

If your interests lay in a small, fun, mature, and easy to talk to guild then Sword Art Online may be the place for you.

We are focusing on both aspects of the game and trying to have a great time while doing so! Although we may not have guild missions yet we are currently working towards it.

However what I can offer you, is Daily dungeon runs, if you want to run a dungeon even if its some that people hate just ask and I’m sure we can get a group together and go kill the pesky mobs for the wonderful tokens!

we also are a group of players who try and help each offer out in times of need, such as needing help 100%ing the world we’ll try the best we can. if you’re also a person you likes a challenge we have weekly events such as Dungeon Competitions, Jumping Puzzle races, and a Raffle!

Hello, i am apart of a guild called Sword Art Online. We are a new guild that is PvX however at the moment we are mainly focused around PvE.

We can offer Daily Dungeons runs ( all you have to do is ask and 9/10 times someone will be up for them), People who are going for World Completion so if you get stuck we can help you out, and a general better gaming experience.

As a guild we are also planning to hold weekly events such as Dungeon competitions, Jumping Puzzle races, raffles, and more! We are also very close to unlocking the first Bounty Hunting missions which shall be done on a weekly bases.

Well if you don’t mind small guilds, Sword Art Online is a PvX guild but mainly PvE. The Server we play on is Desolation. We are always doing daily dungeons runs, running around to trying to grab World completion, and trying our luck on the World Bosses for those pesky pre cursors.

We are also quite close to getting Bounty Hunting missions Which we will be running weekly, as well as some fun PvE competitions such as Raffles, Jumping Puzzle competitions and even seeing which group can complete a dungeon the fastest. There will probably be more fun events to look forward to in the near future.

so again if you don’t mind small guilds send me a shout and even if you don’t I hope you find a good guild that you will enjoy!
