I very much like what you did with guild halls. Will these be expanded in the foreseeable future?

Will we get a personal area which we can decorate ourselves, something like housing?

Sorry, if this is the wrong subforum.

I try to do the Karka infestation achievement in Lion’s Arche. Unfortunately I am stuck where the Karka is at a dead end on a balcony and one is supposed to shoot at the flowers while it jumps up and down from time to time. I can’t remember from the top of my head which exact number it is.

I tried to hit that critter for quite some time, and vids suggest to shoot from right under the balcony (which I did also), but, alas, to no avail. Did anyone do this partycular step in the achievement successfully lately? Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for Condition Damage / Toughness / Precision gear which can be gotten via the Rabid stuff fairly easily.

But as a complementary gear I am looking for Power / Toughness / Precision gear withou any success yet. Do I overlook something, or is this combination simply not available?

After becoming 80 just a couple of days ago, I am experimenting with builds. During leveling I experienced that the elementalist is very squishy only using the staff, but I can handle that.

I have two other characters which go the berserker way more or less. My plan is to try condition damage.

My question is, is that a viable build for the elementalist. If so (or not) what is a good build/equipment for the elementalist? Also, where can I read something abou the Dagger/Dagger build I recently read about?

@marnick: My account was hacked, baned and accessible for me again only a few days ago. I wasn’t aware that one can get the ascended equip in any other way then with laurels. Thanks for the hint ^^ .

That doesn’t change my opinion regarding the dailies / monthlies though ;-) .

@Winfernal: If there will be ENOUGH choices to pick from, it might lessen the pressure. But I doubt that the variaty will be big enough. If I remember correctly the montly includes the salvage of 500 things. 500? Seriously? That is not my interpretation of fun or playing the game as I see fit.

One could say, you can do salvaging on the fly anyway. But no, I have to salvage stuff now which I would have sold before the introduction of the monthly, and I am forced to buy the kits also. The game dictates my actions. Thats not the path GW2 should have take.

The introduction of the dailies and monthlies was a step backwards for Guild Wars 2. With these “additions” GW2 is the same like any other MMO on the market. One is forced to do specific tasks now to get things which are essential for every interested gamer. That wasn’t the case with GW2 before the introduction of the dailies and monthlies. A part which made GW2 unique is gone now — at least for me. I can’t play the game as I want to any more. A sad thing in my book.

The monthly needs a pool! I absolutely agree with that. Salvaging stuff 500 times? Seriously? That is not what I consider “play the game as you see fit”.
