With this guy more then the others i feel the goal is to survive more then to punish because he is a norn and you can’t really beat a norn at drinking. His signature move is what makes it really hard.
So far i have been having a blast with the Bazaar content. I think Anet has made great progress with these living stores and I can not wait to see what they will come up with next. That being said during my quest to become the Omnomnivore (Master of om achievement title) i have hit a wall.
More like a inhuman drinking machine that has no weaknesses.
His name is Adnul Irongut. Like his name implies he has a gut of iron and the skill to back it up. I crushed all other competition in my way but this guy. He is the Gate Keeper.
He never bluffs, always taking drink from his mug. Do not even try to punish him that way. IT WILL NOT WORK.
Now here is his bread and butta. This is how he wins every time.
He signature move makes it so he Knows when you bluff and punishes you for 3 turns. There is nothing you can do about it. I even used the skill that makes it so you can not get punished when you use it and guess what. Does not even matter. If you don’t see what is wrong with this let me explain.
He never bluffs so you cant punish. He Hits you with a move that makes you 1. Drink and take damage. 2. Bluff, fail, then take damage. 3. Try to drink water just to be punished by him and take damage. Now i am not asking for a nerf or anything like that but jeez anet. This guy is harder to fight then Zhaitan…… did i forget to mention use his signature move back to back.

After about 8 games i beat him legit. He still is the gate keeper though
