Let me guess…you already have one, your statement sounds as if it is coming from someone who already has one. Every person I have seen saying this in game chat is standing there with a legendary equipped.
“aren’t so easy to obtain anymore” have they ever been easy to obtain? I too don’t think it should be “easy” and there should be work to get one..but on the other hand..there should be a few more drops and other ways to obtain what is needed to make one.
