Zpiven, you should probably calm down cause everything happened to you so far is only because of your lack of vigilance about how you use/how is used your computer.
You obviously got a trojan or a keylogger, which could happen to any of us ( it happened to me ). It means when you type your password/login somewhere, it’s sent to a bunch of hackers. Usually they don’t give akittenabout your informations ( hackers arent interested about the mails your sending to your wife, or your fb photos ) but when they have your gw ID, they can hack it and use it.
What you have to do ( and what i have done ) is :
To protect yourself with an antivirus ( or a better one obviously )
Using Spybot search&destroy to clean your computer
Running your anti virus program to clean your computer
Create an unique mailbox for gw2, with a unique PW and strong password (choose your password so you can remember it, like the maiden name of your mother+&the 2nd name of your children%+a random suite of number like 9779 )
Change your guildwars 2 mail to this new mailbox
Create an unique and strong pw for gw2
If you’re being hacked again, it means that the anti-vir and spybot can’t erase your keylogger, the best would be to format ( which i did ). I recommend to create a partition on your drive and drag&drop every important files in this partition, to download the iso of your windows ( it’s 100% legal ) and to format your drive.

You’re seeking logic in a world of fantasy … According to logic, yeah the Ranger is kinda a ranged-druid, but if this game was based on pure logic, it would kinda suck. I think ranger should be able to use any ranged weapons, i don’t see why rifle doesn’t fit, because it’s mechanic ? So what ? In WvWvW i can use asura’s turret to shoot people, why am i able to use this if it’s mechanic ?
I think the ranger’s backgroung is about a character who knows how to aim perfectly ( the warrior have powerfull strength, elementalist can control elements etc .. ) so i don’t see why using a rifle isn’t part of the ranger’s backgroud

Yeah like Ryou said this is what you should try :
Uninstall your driver through control panel
Go to Computer, Right click on it, Properties, Device manager, then right click on your card and select uninstall
Download Driver sweeper
Download CC cleaner
Boot in safemode
unistall your remaining graphic cards file with Driver sweeper
Clean registry with CC cleaner

If you got the same problem ( or non stop flickering screen ) try this :
1. Right-click on your desktop and select “Catalyst Control Center.”
2. Select “Preferences” and left-click “Advanced mode.”
3. Click the “Gaming” tab on left.
4. Select “3D Application Settings.”
5. Under the heading “Anti-Aliasing” checkmark “Use application settings” but do not check “Morphological filtering.”
6. Under the heading “Anisotropic filter” checkmark “Use application settings.”
7. Under the heading “Tessellation” checkmark “AMD Optimized.”
8. Under the heading “Catalyst A.I.” move the slider to “Performance.”
9. Under the heading “Wait for vertical sync” move the slider to “On, unless application specifies.”
10. Under the heading “Anti-Aliasing Mode” move the slider to “Performance.”
11. Click “Apply” to save these changes and then start Guild Wars 2.
Once loaded, access the “Graphic Options” window and make the following changes:
1. Change “Refresh Rate” to “60 Hz”
2. Change “Frame Limiter” to “60.”
3. Change “Reflections” to “None.”
4. Change “Render Sampling” to “Native.”
5. Enable “Vertical Sync” at the bottom.
Thanks to gw2 support for this.
It doesn’t really works but greatly reduce the ‘’ display error ’’ ( still unplayable for me, before trying i got this error non-stop and then i got this error every 5 seconds, but heh it’s still an improvement )
I’ll keep this thread updated everytime i’ll have new informations from the gw2 support

Hello everyone,I’m using a g61 HP notebook with 4Gb of RAM on a AMD dual core with an ATI RADEON HD4200 GC. I’m also using windows 7 x64,Here’s my problem, few days ago i’ve purchased GuildWars 2 and was able to play perfectly for some days. I’ve been hacked due to some keygen so i decided to completely clean my computer and reset my password. 3 days ago i’ve been re-hacked, so it seems that my computer clean wasn’t efficient at all. I decide to format my hard drive to get rid of any keylogger on my PC. Everything went well, i’ve downloaded the last graphic drivers for my card ( which were 12.8 ) but now, GuildWars 2 crash after 2 seconds playing, display the error : AMD display driver stopped responding and has successfully recevored. So far i’ve tried many fixes that i found across google : Uninstalling my drivers using ATIMAN uninstall + Booting in safe mode using Driver Sweeper + cleaning the possible registry error with CC cleaner. I’ve updated my bios too. I’ve tried to downgrade the version of Catalyst to 12.6 but it freezes on launcher ( so it’s not really getting better ). I’ve tried to set priority of GW through Task Manger to High, and to set affinity on 1 core. Also tried to re-dl the whole game.I don’t know what else could i do, i don’t think it’s related to guildwars 2 and my comp spec or a hardware problem since i’ve been able to run it smoothly before formatting, i’ve also tried with other games as LoL and it makes AMD crash.
