As guild leader i have 2 major difficulty’s with this new mega server.

1: Getting my members in the same overflow for Guild missions
2: Recruiting members from different server so they cant join me on WvW

I never had any issue’s before, i love the time table they added (its not working yet but atleast its good to see its here!). Perhaps making some guild missions as a instance like the Puzzle, Challenge and Rush? So we dont have to wait for other guilds to finish and dont have to stand in line like a theme park. Yes i have waited for 3 guilds to finish the Quaggan challenge in Mount Mealstrom which wasnt fun at all and frustrated my members extremely while theyre used to be pretty calm and friendly minded.

Even if you post on this forum for recruitment you still get people from different servers which suprised me really. Also when putting down a recruit line saying your looking for (in my case) Gandara players you still end up with jade sea people or anything else.

I think Guild Wars 2 need to bring back the Guild life back to the game and stop thinking about personal loots and benefits. Let the guilds work first as it is called ’’Guild’’ Wars.

IMO the mega server has 1 huge benefit, no more empty maps so there is always someone to play with when running alone. But still, even that has issues as mention above me

Hope Anet will bring a new patch soon to fix some of the major issues here. Cant fix it all for certain but you can cut down the weeds.

The Fiery Titans is looking for Active and Social minded members that like to share its play time with members settled in Europe and beyond!

So here some info about our guild and how we organise events and the like.

What we do:

We have weekly event schedules with all aspects of the game within. That includes: PvE/WvW/sPvP.
We have set days for certain events like Dungeon events (Dungeon Madness) on Thursday and WvW on Saturday and Wednesday.

All members are always welcome in any event we host aslong they match up the lvl requirement which the type of event would demand. For example, a lvl 3 character shouldnt walk in Orr.

When new to a certain aspect of the game the officers and member of TFT would always gladly give a helping hand and that way getting you involved into the guild activity’s.
Also we posses a Private Arena which we use for certain purposes but mainly private and Guildies only.

System:

We have a few systems which we think that will improve the play and groupfeel we want to create in our guild.

- PvE/WvW/sPvP has its own officer(s)

• This makes it easyer to direct questions about certain aspects easyer to direct.

- Full membership always has a chance to grow in the guild

• When not multiguilding and showing interest in the guild and its events will high likely promote you Vanguard or even Officer.

- Activity will be watched via the guild tab and when its working properly we will set the following guideline:

• 3 weeks inactivity will result in a removal from our guild unless you have mentioned us via the forum.

- Guild Meetings

• These meetings will take place each 2 months or when needed more often. This way we keep the majority of our members informed about changes or we want to discuss some new idea’s and want feedback on them.

- Open Minded

• We’re always more then happy about feedback on how to improve on certain aspects. We use mainly the forum for feedback but all officers and leader are always availeble for questions or feedback.

Rules / Guidelines:

- Represent the guild
- Multiguilding is allowed but not encouraged

• When we feel your not representing enough a chat will follow and upon that actions might be taken
  - Any form of Racism, Curses or swearing is not allowed on Guild Chat, Group plays or any Guild Representing events.
  - Forum account and use is needed for further progress in guild
  - Raidcall is our Voip and will be highly recommended to use for certain types of events.
  - Respect your fellow members! Were a international guild so respect eachothers point of view and believes.

Goals:

TFT as guild does believe in keeping the guild personal and fun for all. Thats also the reason why we wont grow bigger then 250 max members. Thanks to the Time table we have been given we will be more able to maintain our guild and its members to create a even more active atmosphere.

Hi there,

I’m not sure if there is any topic about this but i’ve scouted the forums for some time now and its kinda impossible to read back all 1000+ posts

So here is the issue I and many other guilds would like to have fixed or added.
A proper time table.
Why isnt it in here while Anet had it done in Gw1? This lack of a time table makes it very hard to keep guilds active and it gives a wrong view on our guild tabs.

I know guilds have created a rank system to do this as does my guild. But still it’s a pain to keep up while a small indicator would fix such time waste each month to do a Activity check or whatever other guilds do.

I hope this will be added soon since after a year struggling with the member base its getting kinda tiresome and annoying. Please first fix the Guilds in ’’guild’’ wars please before focussing on other items.
A reply would be nice from any Anet employees and anyone who also feels the same about this feel free to share your opinion.

Yeah that picture was taken on Sunnyhills tower.
We had 1 sup ram and 1 normal ram. the finish of one ram made this member pop into the tower.
Since i dont like exploiting i called him to come back tho, or atleast stay in untill the gate was breached and stick with the gate.
And yes, this has to be fixed. but when this happens in our group we wont exploit, we care for fairplay and a good fight

Teesa became our issue of the night. We failed T1 a few times now because of this bug. Very annoying and bad for morale when allready not having a huge guild Hope Anet fix this soon. Hopefully guild trek also get fixed then, glad i didnt started that one today. but thanks for the info

At this moment we have a PvP officer up and running, and good events for multiple interest like PvP/WvW/PvE

As leader of The Fiery Titans in gandara I totally agree on this.

Its a real pain to manage the guild tabs with only info we get is a ’’unknown’’ status. I would like to see the official time lapse my members are offline.

Like in gw1 we had a tima lapse. 1,2,3,4,5,6, 1 week/2/3/month offline periods. These measurements are helpfull for a guild to maintain a Active member base.

I’m also pretty dissapointed in the Multi guilding. and how this game encourage to let players be in multiple guilds. My opnion is: If you dont like, you leave. This multi guilding just takes a cap in guild and you can only hope this person is atleast representing for like 50% of his gametime. This is really a pain to track aswell.

More Icons! Yes! Please! Atleast with the icons we can create our own inactive system since Gw2 isnt really providing it. So do change the inactive system or create more icons pls!

I also really hope there will be guild halls anytime soon, or indeed special rooms for Guild meetings to be held. Probaly not all guilds have meetings and stuff, but for those who do its a real pain to find a place to combine voice client and map chat in 1. So create guildhalls (researched in Architecture ) or make rooms in every large city (Lions arch, Divinity Reach, Black Citadel, Rata Sum, The grove).

You got my full support on this mate, and hope Anet will do something with this input As these Idea’s of improvement are for free.

We The Fiery Titans are looking for active and social members to stenghten our guild and to join us on our almost daily events.
TFT is a PvE based guild that also have standard days for some WvW experience for all those who like. Beside WvW we also do Dungeons, keep an eye on dragons and other meta events, Map roaming like in Orr vanquish squads and more.

We have a active member base which is not hard to join. All our members are always glad to see new faces and get to know you better, within guild chat or in guild events.
Our events are not only what the game premade for us, we also generated a few events our selfs like Karma Day’s and Scavenger Hunts which are planned and hosted once a month.

Also there is a forum and Team speak server you are free to join. Both services we use to plan forward major events like Guild Bounty missions and in the future other missions aswell. Our 130+ member guild is always glad to help you out with anything the game throws at you and our experienced officers crew will always try to help you anywhere they can.
