Newsflash:
Apparently you have only about a minute of time to create a new character AND name it. After restarting our PCs several times and endless attempts of recreating the character we desired we kinda rushed through the creation section and it finally worked!
We both took less than 60 seconds. Maybe it’s just coincidence, maybe not.
My husband and I recently purchased an extra character slot for 800 gems each which we cannot use because of said error.
I don’t understand why ArenaNet keeps selling a product in game when apparently they know it does NOT work properly.
Also we often end up in a black screen and are unable to play for some time.
