We have a friendly pve enviroment where we do dung runs with one another…and pretty active in wvw, usuallly at least a guild wvw event daily. We have a nice guild leader Vizard Darkheart, uber friendly, and willing to go extra miles to help guildies that need dungeon guidance and those below 80. Spent around 4-5 gold upgrading whole of the borderland, spent 3-4hrs maintaining it 100%, while 95% of the people went to other borderlands to earn xp, karma, & loot bags.

Q1. Would Anet consider giving a small incentive for active players that does the boring job of maintaining a 100% map, like every 15mins for all active players that is still at the map will recieve a small reward for maintaining it 100%. At times people need rest too they can hang around to maintain the BL.

Q2. Running around for hours waiting for upgrades, spending hard earned money to upgrade structures is not everyone’s cup of tea, but someone will have to do it. Would like to suggest giving a form of recognition, or maybe a wvw chest reward for every X amount of money invested in upgrading.

its either you are not doing enough min damage, by finishing off without doing enough damage = no loot as well. And the fact that you are lv 35 means you are not using max lv exotic eqs, most likely blues and greens vs lv 80 stats with exotics. You could play a bigger part and get easier kills by handling sieges to help kill ppl like arrow carts and ballista.s

I still remember the first few days of this matchup, YB basically looks like gona run away with around 15-20k lead, constantly throughout the day. And CD looks dead, mostly commanderless as lots of our experienced commanders left CD.

I told myself the past CD is gone, & the present CDers will have to start learning to step up to lead, start to guide those new to WvW and to sacrifice abit of sleep to influence those that have gave up fighting. I truely believe most present CD players are doing that, stepping up as commanders, sacrificing sleep, hence influencing the sleeping/demoralised community of CD.

Even at times where we are lesser in numbers, we never stop fighting, we rally all we could to hold on what we have. I believe in the same for YB and SBI too, just need awaken the giant within you. =)

Lastly I thank NAGA, all the CD commanders, WvW brothers and sisters, you guys were awesome, your sacrifices weren’t in vain, we fought back from 20k down!

True but at least after certain number of wvw badges and wvw accomplishments along with certain amount of time spent in wvw, the commander definitely know what’g going on compared to a pve guy that never play wvw before.

I personally feel that commander should not be purchased just by gold, it should have some badge and wvw accomplishment requirements. A commander should have vast experience in wvw to be able to lead well and not anyone who just farm the gold while pve or buy gold to be commander.
