Guild Wars 2

I’ve tried the Mad King Says event twice, each time he doesn’t appear for me the first time he is is spawned. This means I fail the first few “Mad King Says..”, he then loads for me once he moves location to continue the rest of the event.

On both occasions the problem was at the start of the event. I noticed only 2 or 3 others having the same problem, everyone else seemed to have participated correctly from the start.

I think I experienced this but I don’t think it’s a bug. I think it’s common to land near but not close enough.

You have to land quite close to him (I landed on the Nuhock Wallow). Make sure you’re jumping off from that branch opposite, next to the vista. If you land lower down, and need to jump/climb up to him, he doesn’t acknowledge the glide.

Just wondering if there is a way to “backup” all the files (or some) to save time from having to download all of the Guild Wars 2 content again when doing a clean install of Windows 10 when it’s available.

Interested to know if there are any directories or files that can be transferred to an external drive to save some time – otherwise I’m going to dread that huge download/install.
