Same issue here. Also when I try and whisper a guild member the game engine states that I’m trying to whisper to a guild member that is not online, while I’m watching the guild member type in the guild chat.
Update: It started after I had loaded a character that was in the grove, and was getting dye refunds.

I started playing a three days ago after a few months off, and now when I play every 2 to 15 minutes I am getting a "connection interrupted" message. Several of my TCP monitoring programs all show the same information, my wired signal is strong and the only connection interruption is to the Arena Net servers through Gw2.exe.
My operating system of choice is Debian, coupled with Wine and PlayOnLinux, I like to play Guild Wars 2 using that software. However I do have a weak win7 operating system for software that will not currently run under PoL or Wine. Testings show that the connection interruption happens with the win 7 as as often as with Debian.
Any suggestions or anyone else having an issue?
Started happening to me about 3 days ago. Any fix found with the diagnostic shortcut?
It not that 2012 hardware can’t run it, it’s just not optimized well enough yet.
Also you chose the 660 which is the bottom of the barrel card aside form the 650. It would have been better to go with the AMD cpu and got the 680 gpu. But to help your problem try capping it at 46 fps.
Actually its a thin client setup, not a heavy client. Most of the graphics and sound are stored client side.
Stop posting to wrack up post numbers. Read closer yourself kid. I stated they support it simply to not crash with an SLI setup, but does not to fully utilize the function or SLI’d 670’s and 680’s would not only get between 30-40 fps max.
So many mis-informed people here.
The spread of mis-information is disturbing. Timmy is right on, it’s a poorly optimized game. To say that your cpu is bottle necking your rig is an uneducated guess at best. Someone has been has been glancing (not reading) too much hardocp. 2 GTX 670’s in SLI is more than enough power to process what graphically Guild Wars 2 can throw at em. Discreet graphics cards, via the “drivers”, hands off the processing duties in hand with opengl (or if you still use the weak operating systems directX)your 3570 at stock speed would be overkill.
Arena Net team seems to have released this game way too early. The bad camera, unstable fov, sound crashing, event’s and skill points breaking, the net code needs major tweaking still for huge PvP games.(a.k.a WvW) Clearly the game does not support SLI as in use the function, it just doesn’t crash immediately because you have a SLI setup.
