My GW2 client just had a huge 3gb download that started at about 9/10pm today after I closed the game and reopened it. I had previously been playing for a fair portion of the day and received no new build notification. There’s nothing on the forums about it.

Should I be worried?

Dee Jay, I think you’re mistaken. The rune will not activate if you go from 11% hp to nothing in a single attack, as you have not passed 10%. The rune acts as a catch that stops smaller attacks and degen from killing you, but it won’t save you from a giant spike of damage from a single attack.

Making Tonics Tradeable.

This has propped up a few times on the forums. Last spotted it here and here

And it makes a lot of sense. I mean, the dungeon tonics are tradeable. The people that don’t want those simply offload them onto the trading post for next to nothing to give the people who do want them the chance to use them.

As I said on one of the threads, even if it couldn’t be put on the trade post and you could only give it away by mail, I would much rather give it to someone who would appreciate it, rather than begrudgingly keeping it in my bank where it takes up a precious slot.

It would be great to get a response from the Dev team on this =]

I completely agree. I got an endless tonic after <200 ToT bags and while I was amazed by how lucky I was, I feel I wouldn’t use it nor appreciate it half as much as others! Even if you couldn’t list it on the trading post for money, I’d at least like the chance to mail it to a friend who might appreciate it more than I would. PLEASE make these free to trade! =]

I would suggest in the future to make a chain ramp down, make it a much longer run so jumping is a quicker route, but there should have been an alternative for people who are hopeless at jumping or have a fear of heights.”

By that logic, if you had a fear of dragons then A-net should have an alternate storyline that can replace Zhaitan with a big, evil ooze… Or replacing the spider boss in TA with something else for people with arachnophobia.

Changing the game for one or 2 people with phobias is a ridiculous idea.

The main issue I think people had with the puzzle was the harsh timer. Having completed it, all my immense rage I’d built up over the puzzle vanished. I thought the jump puzzle was excellent! Though I really feel that the timer needed to be a little nicer to people as then you would not be forced to dive blindly through a crowd because you don’t have time to wait until you can actually see where you’re jumping to.

The MK dungeon (“jumping puzzle”… really?) was easy, but EXTREMELY fun. I LOVED the jumping between levels to reach him at different phases and I really hope that A-net put that mechanic into dungeon bosses more. It added that extra something and, along with his teleporting around each floor, made the dungeon feel different from the average “full guns blazing nuke the boss until he’s dead” approach we find ourselves in with other bosses.

Also, I’m amazed that this Aurhia still hasn’t learned that falling damage doesn’t affect your armour. Perhaps he was dying more than he realised from those dangerous little plastic spiders? =]
