Guild Wars 2

Posting on behalf of my wife. Attempting to come back to GW2 after being away for a year or more. She has the serial code from the box, the email and everything…and has attempted to reset the password so she can access her account and download the client. When it asks for additional information for verification it says there is an error and she must contact support, so she put in a ticket.

It’s been several days now, and I’d like for us to be able to play together.

Well, it’s over a day. Still no answer? Still no solution? I know that people are upset about the BLTC, but heck… I can’t even use it.

Gonna bump this as I still have no access, and no answer as to why. It’s a little silly that there has been no response to this besides “open a ticket” and players helping players.

I’m having similar issues as all above, all I get is the load screen for each. I’ve attempted all of the suggestions I’ve found in every forum, deleting the local.dat file, deleting everything related to Guild Wars 2 and re-installing it all (3 times), went and found that Root Certificate all with no success.
If there are any other suggestions I’m open to them, but if I can’t figure it out soon I’ll just give up on the BLTC and just enjoy the rest of the game.

I’m in the same boat. Did everything as well, still nothing comes up on the BLTC.

Its not a “big” issue now, but as I level it’s going to be. Please fix, or tell me what I need to do.

I can’t find a like button on the forum, and I want to like the OP as I agree with him. Stick to your plans ArenaNet. Stay the course.

The LFD tool in WoW hurt if not outright killed the community. While the community is what you make of it, people gravitate toward the easiest path. LFD is easier than actually engaging people. You get in, run stuff, get loot, don’t talk and sit around all day waiting for the next group. That’s not social.

*Make friends.
*Join a guild.
*Remember, you don’t have the holy trinity here. You don’t need a “tank” or a “healer” per se.
*Get to know your server community- both the good people and the bad people.
*What is there, 8 dungeons? We have waypoints for fast travel already – heaven forbid you have to walk a little bit. You have a huge beautiful world to explore in GW2. Get out and see it.
