Only thing I am going to try is use the onboard sound card. (Creative X-Fi)
But I don’t think it’ll change much because I am also using an external PCI-E
Creative X-Fi but maybe the drivers from Gigabyte are better?
Surely the sound quality wont be the same, but I dont think I’ll be able to notice that.

I ll give it a try and I will report back.

P.S. When I change options in the Audio Device (SPDIF, Default, etc) I always get audio! Looks like the game wont even let me change what audio device I want to use. Probably it’s only using the default device set by windows in the control panel.

I dont see any setting to change the audio from 5.1 to lets say stereo/4 speakers, etc.

Noone else has noticed this or does not have this problem?

You can really hear it when the game starts and the music starts to play.

There are some drums playing when the music starts and they have absolutely no bass at all.

You are not even telling us how much money you want to spend.

So, I ve noticed since launch, that the sound/music of the game has almost no bass at all.
I have a very good set of speakers (Gigaworks S750) wich are 750W RMS and the subwoofer rated at 210W RMS.

In everything else, when the bass is set to medium you can surely feel it. But in Guild Wars 2 its like there is no bass at all!

Is that only me or you are experiencing that too?

CPU – Intel Core i7 950 @ 4.4GHz
GPU – nVIDIA GTX 580 SLi overclocked
RAM – DDR3 12GB 1600MHz
Drivers – nVIDIA Beta 306.02

Same problem as previous posters, when in big towns or when there are many people,
GPU usage drops to around 40-50% per GPU along with the FPS.
