Is it possible to get the "My Transactions tab from the Trading Post using an API-Call?
If it isn’t possible at the moment, is it going to be possible soon?
If it is somehow possible i might dabble my fingers into some gw2-api-programming
Kind regards, Shard

Is there a way to watch tPvP Matches?

Wvw confusion was balanced around pve mobs that attack once every 3-4 seconds. The fact that its pve version worked against players in pvp was not fair. That being said, I can understand that people would want to see the pvp version stronger, but it’s still a change that makes perfect sense.
You can’t be seriouse! It’s kitten weak in pve. I don’t think any mesmer plays with a confusion build in pve. And for wvw.. I don’t think it’s overpowered. Yes it is nice for “tagging” enemies to farm them all, but it usually gets cleansed so fast you barely do more dmg than what is needed to tag people. Maybe that is because I usually fight against coordinated groups and not so much against a brainless blob. But taking the only viable aoe build from the mesmer and nerving it way too much is stupid. Nobody would have complained it they nerved it to 75%. The build would still have been viable and not op at all. What I notice is that players die instantly by confusion + reflection and just killing themselfs with their own attacks. But brainless Zerg afking shouldn’t be further encouraged anyway.
I don’t really think that you have ever played a wvw glamour mesmer. Or maybe you are in a tier with people that don’t know anything about wvw. Either way: glamour wasn’t as overpowered to justify a 50% nerv.
This is really just stupid. For solo duels and very small groups the mesmer has phantasm and shatter builds. For group play it ha reflects and confusion. Now we don’t have any viable wvw group builds anymore. When I’m running with my guild ill have to use any of the other races now, as I don’t want to be a veil and portal kitten, but want to do SOME dmg at least.
I really hope that they aren’t gonne use the 50%. That would just be planet
stupid.

Hey, thanks
I was under impression that we have contacted guilds on all servers that were in the list of potential new home for us. But I’m not an officer so can’t say for sure.
Would be interesting to know with whom you were in contact with.
Anyway I / we are happy that you are here. Let’s hope that we can learn alot from each other and that we will have a great time.

Thank you BB and AR for this awesome day at EB.
Had a lot of fun.
Hiding on Anza and surprise hugging you to death to be one that should be mentioned. Sorry for coming to durios too soon. We moved from sm when we heared that the wall was at 5%. Too bad you kept repairing. We steam rolled through both of you and were on our way again.
Thanks again. Awesome fights, awesome day. <3

I dont think there really is anything like this. Of course there are commanders without enough experience but other than that it really comes down to their individual playstyle.
That said there are a few different commanders:
Those that…
… Are good at leading friendlies
… Are good at leading guildraids
… Are good at attacking/pushing/busting zergs
… Are good at taking over objectives (towers, keeps,…)
… Are good at defending
… Are good at sieging up
… Are good at having a map overview and have a high success rate of knowing enemy movement just from looking at the map for a few seconds again and again
… Have a good overview about what his/her group composition and use their individual strengths
… Are good at movement (has a lot to do with attacking/pushing/busting zergs)
The best commanders are those that know their strengths and weaknesses, know when to badge up accordingly (especially when there are already other commanders on the map) or get “backup” by guildies that make up for his/her weaknesses.
It’s a group game. And follow the commanders that are better at a certain aspect to learn from them. Those commanders that think they are the best at everything are the worst ones. Even worse than pve commanders.
My guild has about 4-5 commanders on a map at a time, but only 1 badged up most of the time. The others backing the badged commander up with information and experience.

How can you get 3stacks / glamour field?
All i ever get is 1 =(
May your wits and swords stay sharp.
You get a 1g reduction every time you successfully take/defend a structure against a greater numbered force.
I’d get 2000g back when i by a book. And i guess there are people out there that would get even more. Bad idea. I like the idea of mixing it up though.
5’000 badges + 75g → Badge
And add some new functionalities or an interface addition for the commanders.

Remove NPC “bosses” pull Gift of battle out of WvW and for the love of everything I don’t believe in, GET THESE kitten PvEERS OUT OF MY WVWVW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That will remove this stupid zerging nonsense in the majority of cases, which is only for people who have no idea how to fight other classes and are only good at mindless PvE. I watched 20-30 imbeciles kill that stupid overgrown grub, while completely ignoring the commander last night…….GTFO OF MY WvW PvEERS!!!!! Zerglings need to stay in Starcraft dagnabit….
haha /halfagreed
problem arent only pvers but new wvwers.
i agree with you that sometimes you can have the best commander and people wont follow. but quite often the problem is also the commander, but giving any commands
have seen it often enough… didnt issue enough commands once in a while myself. or did bad movement decisions that people couldnt follow as easily as i would have liked.

turn on friendly fire
it’ll discourage zergling
thats all i can think about
That would not work at ALL. You would have to run solo or with a maximum of 2 players. Or only use single target attacks. =/
Will NOT happen. Thank god.
There might be another way to dissolve blobs. (By making changes to Squads)
Change Squadsize to a maximum of 30
Give players in a Squad a buff (e.g. 2% Magic find / player in the squad)
Change the commander Icon you are following to another color and let the other commander icons show on the map.

Hey there guys.
Zerg mentallity has gotten quite huge since the wxp update. And i can understand people. If you tag everybody or even just half of the enemies of a 60man zerg you can get a TON of wxp.
Staying back in a tower, or hugging dollys, upgrading supplycamps while some of the most important jobs in WvW doesnt net you anything.
Tower Guards:
My idea is for players to be able to employ as a Tower, Keep, Castle, Supplycamp Guard.
The number of how many players will be able to " get hired " would depend on the size (Tower, Keep, etc.)
Those players would have to run to certain random spots from time to time (every 30s?) to prevent afking. (Maybe those rings that are used to cap something could be used for that)
Also spending your coin to upgrade a tower is something that is absolutly necessary for your server to succeed, but doesnt give the player who sacrefices his money anything back. Maybe a little wxp wouldnt be too much to give away.
Commander Additions:
Many many many people want an interface for the commander. (Where you can see the supplyinfo/squadinfo without having to type it into the chat)
I myself thought something like that would be added together with the WvW patch that introduced wxp and wvw ranks, but it didnt come. Im sure its on ANet radar though.
Here is something else that i would love to see changed:
When joining a squad you will only see the tag of your current commander. Which is reasonable i guess for some reasons. People dont join Squads though, because they only loose something by doing so. They loose overview about mapmovement, which seriously is a drag.
You could avoid that by just changing the color of the commander you are following. (e.g.: make the commander tag you are following red)
To further encourage people to join the Squad it would be nice to see all people, that are in the squad on the map. And maybe give them a magic find buff (which wouldnt destroy any balancing problem in wvw) while in a squad. (Maybe even 1% per person in the squad).
If you further lower the maximum number of players in a squad it would encourage servers to run in 2 or 3 squads on a map and not in one massive blob.
Conclusion:
Both changes – the guard and the commander ones – would enhance the performances of servers, encourage players to play strategedly, reward the very important backline players (upgraders, scouts/guards), and might help to dissolve blobs.
I’d love to get some feedback on those ideas.

anyway good job, it’s still fun to see 20+ golem walk on EB. And this golem voice on TS, i don’t know how you did to keep your calm lol
Haha sometimes I didnt even notice I still had my soundeffect on ~.~
And sometimes I forgot to turn it on to shout commands xD
Still getting used to it. But i want to try commanding with the Darth Vader voice later this week ^^
I just hope people will not be held up by laughing and rolling on the floor and thus not being able to fight or listen
I wish everybody good luck, a lot of fun and a Good Game [GG]
See you on the battlefield.

Great Thread. I think its kind of sad that the medium armor looks so much better on male sylvari than the light armor does…. cant find a look that fits for my mesmer -_-’
