I’d be cool with this, but vitality buff for water attune? Maybe something a bit more helpful… healing power or something

That actually helps a lot, Dingle, any thoughts on combining weapon skills? i know staffs earth #2 is a blast finisher, but which field to use it with, things like that?

Am looking for help with all things elementalist, i have managed to get to lvl 46 with next to no clue or experience with more advanced play. I don’t know any of the deeper mechanics of the class beyond attunement swapping, figured i would come here for help…

( traits, auras, utility skills, combinations available within specs, anything )

Hi Wicked Rin – It’s possible that this may just be a corrupt installation, and so I would like for you to navigate to Documents\Guild Wars 2 and delete the local.dat file. Next, please try the following to repair your Guild Wars 2 installation:

1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder.
2. Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
3. Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Repair.”
4. Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
5. Edit the “Target” line to include -repair at the end.

Note: Please make sure -repair is outside of the quotes

Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” -repair
Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe -repair”

6. Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes.

If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try step 5 again.

7. Double click “Guild Wars 2 Repair” to start the repair process.

Once completed, please try starting Guild Wars 2 again.

I have an issue somewhat similar to the OP, i launch the game, and it brings up the screen showing Downloading ( whatever kb ). The number loads up to 10307 kbs at a rapidly declining Kbs per second, and then closes, nothing else happens. any ideas?

I tried the repair but it only did the same thing.

The only thing that feels wrong when playing on my engineer, is the grenade kit.

If the kit worked similarly to its underwater version, or at least the #1 ability, it would just feel so much smoother to play.

Even if they had to scale down the explosion size or damage a little bit, it would be a welcome change imo.

That’s not what he means yoshi, it happens in pve too, random obstructions on random things, like the nests in ascalonian catacombs. It’s a pain to range those. I’ve no idea what causes it.
