Hah, there were times earlier in the week where practically all the maps belonged to SoR, except for SoS’s BL which was completely red. Didn’t see anyone complaining then.

Woah wait… You’re comparing something from earlier in the week where it was actually SoR vs SBI vs SoS, when last night (Oceanic time) all of a sudden shinanegans happened and it became SoR + SBI vs SoS? There’s a difference. Read the previous posts and even the other post:

Players from both SoR and SBI admit that there is foul play, even if there are some who do not agree on doing it.

I heard a rumor that in an effort for SBI to get into gold league SoR has decided to focus on taking SoS stuff and leaving SBI alone. A SoR commander even got kittened on because of taking an SBI keep while SoS still owned stuff on the map. This might be why they hate the color red…I don’t know it’s just a rumor. Anyways a Choo also told me there was a never ending queue on SoS BL until there was no red.

Those are not rumors, there is a topic about it on the SBI website, under the general discussion WvWvW session.

Yup here is the quote “I’m on record as saying I would personally prefer silver league because of the closer fights.
But I’m willing to fight in gold as long as we got there fairly. If we deserve to be there, we should be. Sure, we’ll get smashed for 7 weeks, but somebody has to, and if we’re most deserving of that beatdown, so be it. I still went out and fought every day for SBI this week doing my best, spending my gold and blueprints trying to fight fairly.
I was disgusted when I logged in this morning and saw members of SoR in our teamspeak working with TE to doubleteam SoS to get our PPT up to get us into gold league.
SoR literally had 20 people sitting in our bay at the lord, not capping it.
That’s not the SBI I’ve spent well over a year fighting for. I don’t understand why TE is speaking for our entire server.
I logged off in disgust this morning. This isn’t what WvW is supposed to be.
I would like this addressed at the server meeting tonight, because I find it quite despicable.
Now after 5 and a half days fighting, we can’t even fairly claim a win over SoS.”

I was actually happy that we were matched with them this week as I thought I’d learn a few things from a top server. ;.

No, apparently political shinanegans win. What I was looking for was how SoR plays on the field, but this whole issue overshadowed that.

Politics? To me it sounded more like an ex commander tagging up to help ex server buddies during a designated play time when they were all logged on together.

If it was a server wide conspiracy, SBI wouldn’t be tickin 45 ppt at the moment, but if wearing a tin foil hat makes you feel better, go for it.

Oh kitten looks like I’ll have to transfer off SBI after all. Hope the server implodes with all the dumb kitten it’s doing. Laughable to hear them want gold considering large portions of our wvw population have been missing this match-up (sorry Chris it’s true) and will continue to go missing (maybe even moreso) in Gold League.

As long as it isn’t a transfer to SoR :p. Then again I thought that was the whole point of why SoR are pushing SBI to go into Gold League? For the xfers? Rumours of “if SBI get into Gold League, certain guilds will xfer to SoR”, blah blah blah.

Going into this match SoR, was a Server I respected most out of the top 3 Servers (I even stated this to my guild). I actually rooted for SoR every time they went up against JQ or BG.
I was actually happy that we were matched with them this week as I thought I’d learn a few things from a top server. And wow did I learn… Unfortunately not about WvW but about political kittens.
All I have to say is, after all the shinanegans that has happened, I’ve lost respect for SoR. I know not all of SoR may have been in agreeance and it seems most of SBI were not either, but this has left a bad taste in the mouth.

Welcome someone who applied to BEAR while on JQ.

Sorry for the late correction, didn’t have the whole story at the time.

So are [BEAR]s a cross server guild? Sorry if this was asked before.

I’ll have to wait until SEA time to ask them, but it was either an individual saving to transfer, or someone spying on BEAR’s guild chat (I don’t believe anything organized on JQ’s party, just a lone individual looking to troll + give his server a greater advantage since massive numbers + 3 bloodlusts just aren’t enough).

It does bring up a good point when you see something like that make sure you note it and encourage others not to listen since that kind of thing was what makes Tier 1 an awful place.

BEAR is a SoS guild. Has been that way for a while now from what I’ve heard.
Most of our members are AU/NZ with a number of SEA and NA.
The player in question I think was either a player who was looking at transferring to SoS, but has yet to finalize or the player is a friend of our fearless Leader Asuna.
I’ll wait for Asuna to confirm that XD.
And yes BEAR would like SoS with that.

On that note, BEAR did receive an offer to move servers >_>…

I usually do not post but… Nice Hax CD ._.
Walls and Gates fully repaired.
After we painted nearly all the map green we see this CD thief running around our outer shadow stepping up walls. GG.

What I would have liked would have been if the Final Event (Ancient Karka) had been available at two set times so that anyone who doesn’t make it to one of the event times they can try go to the other. Either that or make it a whole day event (please read bellow on how to stop farmers of the event).

To fix farming issues make it so that the Ancient Karka Event Reward could have only been given once per Account and not per character.

Also have the reward from the Event mailed to the Account for completing the event rather than having to open a box, that way even if you DC’d you get rewarded for the participation.

As for the Fractals, Players DCing and not being able to rejoin the party is a bit ridiculous and needs to be fixed. If this was done to prevent people from farming the reward chests per Fractal with multiple players, then again the reward should just be mailed to the participating players.

Karka Champions/Veterans drops should be fixed. Fighting something that challenging and get zilch is a time waster.

Add more things into the new map. It feels bland, empty or a half finished design. The only thing I really go there for are the materials. Other than that there is not much incentive on going there.

Make sure chain quests requiring some sort of NPC event or so do not bug out. This is not just about the Event that just pass, I’m talking about Guild Wars 2 in general where some Events in the game just bug up and stop working as they should and we have to wait for a server reset to fix them only to bug up again after.
