When I bought GW2 I was expecting WvW to be these massive populated battles between armies. Instead it’s sparsely populated and you could spend hours without encountering another player, or, just run in zergs killing unguarded npcs. I don’t think we need smaller populations per server. I think we need less servers. Right now the experience I’m getting with WvW is the opposite of what I’d thought I’d get.

Yo, what’s happened in the past couple days? Before the new living story and all the updates dropped, I was grinding unranked pvp for 2 nights straight, trying to complete the Nika reward track so I could have her for strongholds. No ragers were encountered. No rudeness, no kittens, and a few people were even nice and helpful.
Two days later, the game is suddenly massively unbalanced – you either get paired with a team that has no idea what anything is or how to play capture the flag, or you get paired with a team that has that ONE LOUDMOUTHED GUY WHO THINKS HES AMAZING but he really really isn’t and he’s really really rude.
What happened? It’s such an extreme swing. I’m really upset now because I JUST came back to the game and I was enjoying myself and now everything is horrible.
Also taking more than a week to respond is a complete embarrassment for them, I hope they know that.
Finally received an automated reply from Anet regarding this issue; they stated that they are aware of the issue and working on it.
I hope they will compensate us in some way for being unable to use our characters for close to a week! (More than a week for some ppl)
Is there any update on when the pet bug in PVP will be fixed? Go underwater does nothing.
I still have this issue. I have had this issue since Friday. I have submitted MULTIPLE bug reports. I did not receive a single reply from Guild Wars 2 – NOTHING AT ALL – regarding this. And trust me, I’ve checked everything – my email address is correct, and the replies are in none of my folders and not in my junk mail, they just don’t exist. I find this incredibly frustrating and annoying. My main toon is unplayable. I paid for this game because I’d heard the devs care about the game and the players – and what is this? They expect me to buy the expansion as well when this is going on? I’m coming in from Neverwinter, and at least they don’t even bother pretending they care – and they send you an automated message to let you know they got your bug report!
I can’t access my pets in PVP either. There’s just a button that says activate pet or something similar; clicking on it does nothing. Hitting K does nothing. The pet is just not there in PVP areas. However the pet is fine in PVE areas.
