A couple of weeks back, I opened 25 chests, got 5 scraps.

Today, I opened 15 chests, got 0 scraps. ZERO!!! This is really ridiculous. What kind of sick RNG is in the game?

You opened those 40 BL Chests will the full knowledge that there are no guarantees that you’ll get what you want, and then complain that you didn’t get what you want? It’s like going to the store to buy an apple pie, then getting upset there wasn’t any strawberries in it.

that’s a horrible way of making your point… i get what you’re mean but surely if you’re going to buy an apple pie you don’t buy it because you hope there would be strawberries in it… bl chest have a chance of giving what you want, apple pie by definition will never give you strawberries.

Same here, game crashed after Maw died and unable to load the map anymore, curiously enough the same problem doesn’t occur with my alts.

The real problem with zerging as hard as Sbi does. Is when someone like me catches you 111 pushers out in the open. I just shake my head at how bad some of the guys I come across. Sbi by FAR has the worst players I have seen in any server match up I have been in.

So play the loldefence. Play the omgmantehcannons. The real reason your hiding in that tower/keep/camp is cuz ur bad.

You should swap servers to fight your fellow NSP members. That way you’ll find that one server that has by FAR the worst players. No zerg. No roam. No skill. Not much but the bags you leave behind.

You silly goose. You don’t need to join Ebay or SBI to know SBI sucks. Zerging is the only think SBI knows. Even If EB was completely empty SBI would still zerg, you know in order to stay safe. i mean imagine if a commander would get scared of his shadow, gotta have that 50 followers protecting him. SBI talking thrash about no roamers is just hilarious ~

I don’t really get the whole moaning about champ runs. Nobody is able to restrict you from killing it. So what if people tell you to not do it? Surely you aren’t obliged to listen to every command issued by some stranger on the internet… if you want to kill it, kill it, What will they do? Drown you in their salty tears?

This whole thread is so ridiculous. You want to restrict people from running champs because YOU decided to listen to some random dude that told you to not kill one… Seriously?

This thread is silly. All modern day usage of meta comes from the prefix, infact meta still is a prefix. Metamorphosis, not metamophasis, comes from the prefix meta and morphe. together it means changing form or transformation.

Meta throughout the years has known a widening semantic shift. it can be used to refer to a lot of things. for instance metalanguage is the language linguistics use to talk about language.
metalinguistics is the study of language in relation to cultural behavior. in other words it’s the study of how speech changes depending on culture.
Metaphore is the interchangability of words.
Metadiscussion is the discussion of discussions
Metatheory is the theory where a theory itself is the object of study.

When players talk about meta they mostly refer to some set of rules people abide to(or not abide to). these aren’t set in stone and can change with any patch. It’s having understanding of the game but instead of applying that understanding to the game and it’s mechanics, you apply it to a factor outside of the game namely the people who play it. You predict how others will play and play according to that strategy. for instance i predict people will zerg in wvw so i use an arrowcart because i’ll hit a lot of people fast. I predict people will defend their keeps in numbers so i’ll use golems to try to take it as fast. Meta in games is mostly just a conventional strategy/counter strategy. it’s meta because the people themselves are not part of the game mechanics. and thus are subjected to outside of the game knowledge.

When NSP want’s to play, you see the results Shiver posted. Os was running in AR yesterday and doing a good job against the AR “PUG” zerg. Which was to be expected since we have many new WvW players.

This is definitely a flip from what has been going on.

However, you can call it what you want, but purposely trying to keep numbers down to place in Bronze instead of Silver and trying to justify the case is absurd. It truly is. Whoever supports or took/takes part in purposely altering the true outcome is selfish and cowardly. There are many players in NSP who want to win, who try hard to win, and want to make a better, stronger server.

If going to silver league and getting your * handed to you is what it takes to be stronger, than that’s what it takes. Purposely trying to stay in bronze to beat up on smaller servers such as AR, GoM, Devonas is wrong.

We have players who have been working very hard to even place 2nd place in a match, which we finally accomplished in months of placing 3rd. We play to have fun, but ultimately we want to win.

And yes, the leader of Os and a member os ZoS did come to AR and “chat” in Lions Arch. Bad intentions are bad intentions, no matter how it comes across and that’s what happened. It put a poor reputation not only on the two guilds, but the server as a whole. But It’s done and over now, and can be put behind us.

Good luck to the earnest members in NSP and good luck in whichever league you place. Hopefully a commander can rise in NSP and put the bad inentions in the ground and take NSP much higher.

That’s not really true though. Everybody who has some idea of the servers on the silver league will immediatly understand that NSP doesn’t fit there. We just don’t have the population to compete. Also NSP is generally known for still trying to bring the fight to the higher populated servers, despite being unable to alter anything. Is it really so rediculous that people don’t look forward to being absolutely meaningless for more than a whole month? Demanding that people willingly spent their free time to take a few camps only to have a zerg pass by and steamroll us. After the steamroll the zerg will go away again and we’re left to recapture some camps again, until a zerg decided we’ve had enough fun and destroy everything we achieved again. Tellign people to look forward to that is quite frankly absurd as well. Havign a matchup where you know you’ll get zerged is fine, looking forward to say a month of getting zerged is just making most of us feel unspirited. How is that cowardly and selfish? by your definition of selfish, everybody who plays this game is selfish because surely you could help the world more if you didn’t play, yet you want to have fun so you play. and we want to have fun too. why are you allowed to have fun but when we want it selfish? ah yes how silly of me your obligation to a game is obviously worth more than your obligation to mankind… right?

People might kitten on us for whatever reason but the fact is that:- we’re a server that belongs in the bronze league
-we never chose for the league’s to be implemented.
- we never chose for Devon to play on our server.
-we didn’t chose the structure of the leagues
- we are also just humans that want to have a good time after a hard day of work/studying/whatever.

So no people wanting to be in bronze league is not absurd or cowardish or selfish. Not in the slightest.

That being said, i am disgusted by people telling other people to kitten off so we can tank. If some people want to continue WvWing, kittening let them. They have as much right to want to enjoy the game the way they want as you have the right to enjoy the game you want. (this is obviously not aimed at you, Antara. it’s aimed at a few INDIVIDUALS on our server.)

ueh this is horrible NSP doesn’t really have any place. bronze will be boring because we have way more people compared to most other bronze servers. and silver will be boring because we’ll get roflstomped most of the time Anyway nobody should sabottage other people sorry to hear you’re being sabottaged XOXO

It’s funny how Kaineng has like 425ppt and has all the keeps +sm castle under their control. yet they cry because “they have lost so many people”. Also interesting is that at the start of this match up they were hardly able to complete… so i’d assume kaineng either magically pulled players out of the ground or maybe some guilds deliberately didn’t play as much in order to make them lose some points. BOOOO

Anyway if we’re going to go silver league there will be zero reasons for me to play. NSP has already shown to drastically decrease in activity when playing against way bigger servers like CD for example. As a european and staff ele i might just as well be a mob to the bigger servers. Quite frankly i don’t really fancy being a walking lootbag and i think a lot of PUG’s don’t fancy it either.

Ah well, we’ll see how it turns out.
