Hi,

I’m running Guild Wars 2 on a mid 2011 iMac (21.5 inch model) through bootcamp, with a Radeon HD 6750 graphics card. I can run almost all settings on high, but shadows seem to be non existent even when turned on!

When I tried to update the driver (to AMD Catalyst), an error is shown:
“AMD Catalyst Mobility cannot be downloaded due to incompatible hardware/software on your computer. Your computer does not contain a proper graphics adapter.”

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just do a Google search for Radeon HD 6750 iMac Win 7 driver. It’s not an issue with Apple or your iMac the issue is a AMD issue and has nothing to do with the fact you are running an iMac.

I’m sure as you know anytime you have a Mac people will attack you as you’ve seen in this thread. You probably wont find much help here when you mention you have a Mac. You’ll likely just get attacked and trolled.

Okay, so I downloaded the driver from the link you provided and shadows now work! Thank you for your help man – this game now looks even better!

The game runs extremely well on my iMac, so users can attack/troll me all they want
