Just to put an update, i directly connected my modem and fixed the issue. Its strange since i never had this issue before ever since launch……but oh well.

Just to have an Update to mine (OP), this did not fix my connection issues. I have tried restarting, tried the VIP thing, tried the MSconfig thing…..nothing. I’m basically at my end trying to fix this……

I am on the East coast in NA with this issue. specifically in the New England area.

I am on the East coast as well, since it seems other people are having the same issue as me.

Unfortunately i cannot just simply reconnect and make it go further, the connection error still persists and i make no progress. I also have tried reinstalling the entire program……before i was at the new 110 files before it stopped, now i’m stuck at 5500……so not an improvement.

I do not believe it is something on my end…….i think this is something on Anet’s end since i could barely connect to even reply to this thread a minute ago……

Hoping to hear an official response soon

I currently have a ticket already in, but i’m hoping to get some second opinions on what the issue might be here, as well as try to get a faster response.

I was playing Guild Wars 2 fine about a week ago with my friend. Everything was working OK, i was experiencing no lag or anything like others have talked about on this forum (constant dc, lag spikes, etc) up until the 11th of June. Now…..whenever i open GW2, the launcher will load up to 9%, then slow to a crawl before finally giving the error “Connection errors detected. Retrying” and never making it past 10%. I have never run into this issue before ever since playing on release (Pre-ordered with collectors edition, basically day 1 player).

I have included the Game Adviser attachment, as well as already ran the Guild wars 2 Repair program. BEFORE YOU RESPOND, THE AVG COMPATABILITY ISSUE IS -NOT- THE ISSUE. I completely disabled AVG, windows firewall, tried directly plugging it in……nothing. I never even used AVG or Windows firewalls as i have NoScript. This issue seems to be server side.

I am also running on Comcast internet, which i haven’t heard any issues with (I know cox had some earlier) if that helps. If anyone has any info (especially Anet) please let me know.

Again, the AVG THING IS NOT THE ISSUE, that was my response on the support ticket as well. Thank you in advance.
