If you are asking about lvling your char via crafting (sorry if not but since it was in your title).

I got my first char to 80 playing normal… did the whole world thing and story and all that.

Then I spent 10 gold or so rolling a mesmer and using crafting to got from 3-80 in about 8 hours of game play.

I played that for a month or so then wanted to try something new and did it with a Ranger. Ranger wasn’t for me.

About 3 weeks ago I did it with a theif but I am much faster at it now and can do it in about 5 hours of play time.

If you have a lvl 80 that does some cof runs its not hard to get 10 gold to get a alt to 80. I am sure I will also do it with the rest of the classes.

Thief is still my fav to play so far… even tho that is off topic.

I been asked a lot what it all looks like so here is a small compilation.

And Yes I am that loser who spends way to much real life money on in game gems while their are starving kids in the world. Beat you to it.

But for the most part I got great deals on making offers. Just had to wait it out.

It’s not very hard to be good with that build. Kill a target in 2 seconds, or run away. It doesn’t get much easier then that. Personally it just feels too easy for me. I love to use pistol/pistol as my main weapon set, with Blinding Powder and Hide in Shadows as stealth triggers, while also stacking poison with shortbow.

Well I am happy for you that my build is “too easy”. I really had to work at it.

i can perma stealth, and on top of that i can blind the enemy then do HS damage and THEN stealth for extra damage

i believe i can also (never tried)… BP > HS+ Steal with mug and then BS

i read somewhere i can HS and steal together and get the mug damage and HS damage but never tried

Agreed we BADLY need to be nerfed. Thief is so op ….
