If your having trouble with motioninjoy here is a guide
http://www.motioninjoy.com/wiki/en/install/latest
Here’s the controller setup i use for GW2
google this stuff to get it
Download Xpadder
Download Motioninjoy (for ps3 controller only) – use to emulate a 360 controller
Download Mouse Emulator – used to lock in holding right mouse button
then put these controller setup profile files in the same folder you have xpadder
http://www.filedropper.com/gw2_2 <——Controller setup
http://www.filedropper.com/gw2_3 <——Button profile
A = Jump
X = interact/talk to npc
B = Dodge
Y = Map toggle
Left stick click = autorun
Right stick click = key 6 (heal action)
Left stick = move character
Right stick = move camera ( pushing select toggles this from mouse to camera control) – this is what mouse emulator is for
Select = Toggle camera / mouse control
Start = Hero menu
Right bumper = key 1
Right trigger = key 2
Left bumper+Right bumber = key 3
Left bumper+Right trigger = key 4
Left Bumper+Left trigger = key 5
Left Bumper+ X = key 7
Left Bumper+ Y = key 8
Left Bumper + B = key9
Left Bumper + A = key0
Left Trigger+ X = F1
Left Trigger+ Y = F2
Left Trigger+ B = F3
Left Trigger +A = F4
Dpad Up = swap weapons
Dpad left and right = cycle targets
Dpad down = F11 (Menu)
Few other notes:
I still use a mouse for clicking the navigation bar or moving the map. This mainly just gives you full combat and character movement controls
Disable “double tap to evade” in game options
I also disable “Stop auto attacking on target change”
Change the Camera rotation speed for right analog camera movement to desired speed
Mouse Emulator needs to be running in your icon tray.
if your out of the game randomly highlighting stuff or your left mouse button doesn’t work its cause this is still holding down the right mouse button. push * on the numpad or exit it
Feel free to change buttons on xpadder around to what you feel comfortable with.
