I understand that having a live game is far more complicated than most people realize and that hotfixes are even trickier. I feel that if there was a bug causing a sizeable portion of the player base to receive 25-90% less XP, gold, and loot, that it would be hotfixed. Why should it be any less relevant for end-game players. The only way for a level 80 to advance their character is by attaining new gear, the bulk of which comes from dungeons.
Again, I’ve said it before, I really appreciate you guys having a presence here on the forums and keeping the communication open. It’s just super frustrating to know that the entirely of the end-game PvE content is off limits to me (because I’m not keen on spending 3 hours in a dungeon for a couple dozen tokens), and that you have a patch that will likely fix it, and you’re unwilling to hotfix it.
Devs, can we get an update on this?
At this point I’d rather you turn off the DR system until you can suppress the false positives. Mudflation is bad; penalizing people incorrectly is worse.
Day 2:
Got a group together to attempt Sorrow’s Embrace explorable mode since it hadn’t been 24 hours since I completed HoW. The people that could zone in ended up in different instances. Group disbanded.
Found someone who had cleared up to Giganticus Lupicus (Arah) and failed and needed a 5th. I joined in, we (the group leader and I) were put into a separate instance, we had everyone re-zone, and we all ended up in a completely new instance of the dungeon. So we restarted from scratch, 2 hours later and several failed attempts at Lupicus, and group falls apart.

Wanted to accomplish something before I went to bed, so I hit Honor of the Waves to get one wing in. Cruised through it fairly painlessly, completed wing3 about 26 hours after I completed it yesterday, got 45 tokens (again). At this point I’ve done 4 wings in 2 days and should have 240 tokens, but I’ve only got 135.
I know you guys at ANet are doing your best to get these things hammered out, and you’re doing an incredible job of communicating with the players, but it’s super frustrating when you (the developer) are investing time in systems to combat botters, and legitimate players catch fallout for it; provided they can even enter the dungeon.
I also feel the move to provide bonuses per wing per day was a great idea to incentivise seeing more of the game, however removing the tokens from the bosses has made it so that I basically got nothing except a repair bill for 4 hours spent in Arah.
Attempted to run Sorrow’s Embrace last night, my group kept getting split into different instances and we couldn’t complete (or even begin) the dungeon.
Found a new group for Honor of the Waves Explorable (I have never done Explorable or Story, and once per day for the 2 previous days I had attempted to do Story, however both times my group kept getting split into different instances).
We completed the wings in order (1 then 2 then 3) changing out one player each wing I believe.
Myself and one other player both received 45-30-15, while the other 4 or 5 players all received 60 for each wing they completed.
