Guild Wars 2

Today (12/9) is the first day I have tried to log into GW2 since 12/4. At first the game started to update, which, being Tuesday, I expected. Then the login process ended with the same error as everyone mentions here. I tried One Note Chord’s solution, and it did not fix the problem. I have also tried restarting the router and rebooting the computer. Does anyone have an answer for this problem?

I spent the afternoon doing the Lunatic Inquisition. I completed the 8 rounds requred for the Blood and Madness achievement. The achievement summary indicates that I recently completed the Lunatic Inquisition Regular, but I did not get credit for the Blood and Madness achievement in the Blood and Madness achievement counter.

I’m guessing this is a bug. Please confirm or let me know if I neglected a step for getting the credit.
