Coming back after months of idling.
I’d love to know what are your thoughts on Necromancer vs PvP & PvE meta.
How do you feel about the usefulness and power of Necromancer among other classes?
What are your views on the future of the profession?

I recently got back into Guild Wars after a long break and I would love to find an active guild revolving around PvE content: dungeons, fractals, future raids. I am not interested in large 300-member communities where people don’t know each other as I love to socialize and chit-chat. English-speaking guild is a must, it would be even better to be able to talk with some natives. I’m also voice comms ready, Skype would be great.

I may not be your hardcore speedrunner as I have a lot to learn, but I devour knowledge really fast! I came to Guild Wars 2 with 50/50 HoM and GWAMM on my back so I am not a newcomer to Tyria. I have a level 80 Thief, exotic-geared and getting first ascended accessories. I am also finishing leveling my Necromancer.

Lots of people believe that necromancers can’t do anything other classes can’t do better, that we don’t provide enough group support and that our DPS is mediocre at best, blah blah.

I would like to read opinions of HoT beta testers, both PvP and PvE, to see whether there is a chance for necromancers to finally become a part of metagame. My thoughts go with Reaper but it would be nice to get some insight into necromancer in general, not only its elite specialization.

What do you think? Any chance for the winds of change?
