I agree, would be more than satisfied with just (mutual friend) Contact List and Guild List.

Proven to me and I’m sure proven to many others. Not being able to tell if people have been online is demoralising. Whether to continue playing or not then comes to mind if other players don’t seem to ever log on. But even just finding out they have been playing at different times doesn’t make it seem so bad.

Its a small straight forward feature. I’m sure only good would come from its implementation.
