Actually, it’d be a shame if the magnificent tower of light that contains all those tablets and scrolls at the heart of the Durmand Priory didn’t serve a purpose like that:

Also +1 to whole thread, its good that they try to bring some players to old zones for harge event. But I guess they forgot that people will leave this zone as soon as they finish event, especially if they cant repeat it after a month or few.
IMO actual tournaments should not be removed, but should be renamed (to random tournament or something) and new type of tournaments should be added. I think about GW1’s daily tournaments. That was great idea, ppl could play them 3 times per day so “all” interested players were gathered in one group. Thats important problem of GW2’s tournaments.
My feelings after winning GW2 tournament: Hell yeah, We are the best team… compared to 7 other… that circumstantially wanted to play at the same time as We… I want to play PvP cause I like to compare myself to rest, but I cant cause current style of pvp wont let me to.
My feelings after GW1 tournament (HB exaclty, 1v1 arena): Hell yeah, I may not be the best, but I faced about 90 ppl. I want to play next tournament tomorrow. I saw tournament roster, I saw whole list of my enemies, my current score. I know how good I am, etc, etc, whole “climbing up the ladder”. While gw2 has no such thing, all I can do is check if I can beat 7 random teams.
TL;DR:
GW1 has great PvP tools (tournaments, ladder, guilds, a lot of maps/game types, templates, REWARDS worth some ingame money, observator mode…)
GW2 completly lacks nearly everything… (only pvp items’ npc and skins are done at decent level)
Why not just copy all that stuff from GW1 to GW2??

Only tooltip fixes (if we dont count RTL and magnetic grasp).
Im not playing staff ele nor active pve. So I dont get that staff nerf.
Please enlighten me in case of staff nerf.

Im trying to get 100% of the map, but that star… meh, if itrz pernament then it make 100% completion less interesting or even worth avoiding.
