Someone at Anet just had the last day at work and is now packing his stuff and will never return!
I am stuck with lots of crappy ascended trinkets that cannot be salvaged, cannot be traded, cannot be thrown into the MF. They can only be destroyed.
I still believe that any gear whether it is ascended, legendary or quest related should at least be salvagable, or useable in the MF and perhaps also sellable.
The same counts for materials that cannot be sold (e.g. some ascended) because they’re account bound, please remove.

I have only wish. Dont make new leges tradeable on TP.
Too many things are already account bound. Don’t lock more things away.
Indeed, I’d even go further and advocate for removing ALL account bound and soulbound from game, so that everything can be traded or salvaged.
New Title Achievement: “I believe I can Fly” (100.000 deaths by falling damage) !

The thing is, I can’t afford to waste 2 hours every night just for an event to fail. I have a job, I need to support my family, game time is a limited resource for me. And wasting 2 hours a day for nothing is one of those things that makes me wonder just what it is I’m doing with my life.
Fully agree, it would have been nice if the time spent actually resulted in a suitable reward. For example by removing or at least increasing the timer and adjusting the reward to the time spent getting him down, the faster the better the reward.
Tequatl a necessary evil?
Only perhaps for the achievement it is worth getting the dragon down once. But given the problems joining home server and, once you succeed getting there, the long time standing waiting in Sparkfly doing nothing, and the eminent chance of failure, the meager reward (for getting him down only !) doesn’t weigh up against these annoyances.
