Still waiting to have a correctly linked GW1 account.
Ticket: 120831-021047
This is never received a response, and is an attempt to regain access to a NCSoft master account. I’m not even sure what is in said account, but I was attempting to look there for the GW1 issue.

I did not receive the “is this still an issue?” email on either of these tickets.

I need to callout your support team on this one. Despite repeated requests from you and other support members to update our tickets with information instead of creating a new one, it is obvious in this case that the entire ticket was not read.

I was hacked and had my account restored on 9/1. However, I have also had trouble with the Guild Wars 1 linked account (I think it isn’t linked to a real GW1 account). At the time I thought it was related to the hack, so I had both issues on the ticket. The latest response from support was that they “restored” my GW2 account…which did nothing other than forcing me to change my password again. I still don’t have a properly linked GW1 account.

If we’re going to be told that the best practice is to update our tickets and have to deal with repeating ourselves from automated replies, then I’m sorry, but the support staff is going to have to do more than skim all the text created by this process. It’s especially ironic that the automated reply correctly updated the title of the ticket to “linking issue” and this person didn’t even read that!

I’m another customer with an incorrectly linked GW1 account. As far as I can tell, I ended up with an empty Guild Wars account (it gives me the message “You are not authorized to play Guild Wars” when I try to log in with the linked login). Ticket number is 120830-000500 . I was also hacked and thought the issues were related when I created the ticket. I have the GW2 account again (only thing they had a chance to do was change the home server, easily fixed) so that issue is resolved. Do I need to create another ticket for the linked account issue? I haven’t had a response since the 1st when they freed my GW2 account.
