I’ve spent since the start of the most recent sale trying to add gems to my account in order to buy some more character slots. I have been playing on the mac beta since release and every time I’ve attempted to buy gems I get the error message, “Unfortunately an error has occurred, please try again later”. After contacting support and trying numerous ‘fixes’ such as clearing the cache I was told that the only way around this problem was to install GW2 on a windows PC. I am using a windows machine to write this email after having the same message appear on numerous attempts to buy gems after installing the game on the new machine.
