Guild Wars 2

So… for the new expansion, do players need to actually buy the custom arena for 200golds to have an arena inside the guild halls or just unlock it through ‘Favor’ or ‘Influence’ points?
I already have a custom arena for my guild, did I just waste my golds if it can be unlocked through some guild points?
