Guild Wars 2

Is there a way to retrieve active pvp matchups. All I can think of is making a request like https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/pvp/games?ids=ABCDE02B-8888-FEBA-1234-DE98765C7DEF and retrieve timestamp and if time stamp is closer to now and score is less then 500 I count it as active but this has flows in it.
