Im looking for a way to just record gw2 on my desktop in HD without fps dropping, i have an alienware m17x i7 with 8gb of ram, Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M, and i play at the maximum graphics and plays beautifully, even wvw, and would like it be the same when i record it
or do people just buy the commander title just for show? i swear when im playing, the commanders do not know how to lead, some will not answer back in the chat, and some will just charge into random battles when we are outnumbered, anybody have these same things?
Thanks guys for the answers, didnt realize that this post was still going on, looks like its Alienware and msi i should be looking at it, from the sounds of this post, compared to Alienware, MSI looks similar to Alienware, specs wise

im actually looking into buying one, an m17x, so i could run this game really smooth, espcially in WvW, my current laptop is ok for this game but not the best, i can do max settings, but when a dynamic event comes around im screwed, i just like to play this game on max cause it looks phenomenal instead of on auto dectect where everything is ugly, i can play WvW barely on auto detect, im not even gonna try max, my only concern for these laptops is i heard they literally melt, literally, is this true?

ok interesting, this i should take into considering, i currently use a staff cause i like having long range attacks, but i didnt know the damage would be the smallest, i thought the staff would be the toughest out of all the weapons, so it looks like the daggers are the best for damage wise, but i hate to be close range, i guess i could go with sceptor but casting spells in this weapon are slower to me, lol i have no idea what to exactly choose anymore
