Uhm, there are 2 well known exploits but I came across a group doing a tertiary exploit today that gave an extra 5 tokens on top of what you get from the main exploits. I don’t know if Anet knows about this, and I don’t really want to give away too much info. I sort of did it twice just to figure out what the exploit was so I could actually report it.
I think that the battering ram gets used a lot by power rifle guys cause it adds a large amount to their burst damage.
Thing is, I use other kits, but nothing seems to be able to touch the damage of ‘nades. Plus I love big explosions and bombs just don’t do it for me. Are you trying to tell me I’m a bad person for wanting to blow things up with a weapon I love AND applying so much vulnerability for all my friends?
So I’ve been trying to find a way for an Engineer to do both great DPS and help his party out a little and I think I’ve discovered a way.
One thing that Engineer seems to be able to apply well and consistently that other classes don’t seem to apply so much is Vulnerability.
I can keep up a stack of 15+ vulnerability by myself with 25 spikes from time to time with ease. This causes all of your party to do 15-25% more damage and mobs will go down noticeably quicker.
Without further ado the build: http://gw2skills.net/editor/en/?fcAQFAUl0piYnwy2F17Iy4DcGYGAW995xb1WQIA
If you turn on the option that lets you target on mouse pointer grenades become a lot more user friendly.
I make sure grenade kit is active, open with 2 and then spam 1…if bleeding is going to drop off then I hit 2 again and just keep spamming 1. 3 and 4 are for defense.
Your Goggles allow you to apply vulnerability faster and obviously analyze really helps there as does Grenade Barrage.
Honestly it’s not the most interesting build in the world but it does so much damage it isn’t funny and it will boost your parties damage by a lot as well.
