Yes it is much better on windows. But not everyone has windows, has space for windows, wants windows, can afford windows etc.
Absolutely, my post only focus on those that can, want or already have windows installed and wonder how much better it is

Seriously, every mac user playing GW2 should really install Windows on bootcamp, it’s incredibly 100 times powerful ! After 2 years playing on Mac, I recently installed it on Windows because it was really painful, and “waw !”, just do it ! :p
Same problem on my side, since the last update (I didn’t played since 3-4 months so it’s maybe not new), my iMac is warm but I never got those crashes before, and I was 90% time in WvW.
So how the heck this issue is solvable ? I tried to change settings and everything else shown in this forum, but I prefer kill myself than turn all settings to low to be able to play… :-(
